ftm: 15 months.

This video provides a big rant about acne and muscle loss.
P.S.: Somehow I accidentally cut out a - for my story - important sentence at 6:53: "To my disappointment it fits me again." All right, now my dark blue dress shirt story makes sense again. Sorry.

You are so gorgeous! It hurts my heart that you are so bummed about your skin. I know my 14 yr old FTM will face that because he already has skin issues. He used to be so depressed about his skin, but once he started Prozac, it freed him of caring! It was an amazing change in self-image and relaxing him about the things that bothered him so much. Anyway, your eyes are to die for, I love your hair so much, your voice is super sexy. You're gorgeous!

How flattering! :-) I'm sorry to hear about the problems of your son. That's awful. Hope he's doing fine, anyway. Please give him my kind regards!

Look at it this way: if you don't try accutane, you will never get rid of your acne and if accutane does not work, it's the same outcome. So.. you can only win from testing accutane. And if that does not help you could always try to speak to a dermatologist, like you said (I guess you havent done that before?) and maybe they can help you. They could help me :) But other than that: Great changes!

You're right, it would be the same outcome, so I better just try. I guess I'm one of the guys who'll suffer from all the side effects, though. *sigh* Oh, and I've spoken to hundreds of dermatologists and tried about a million different antibiotics, skin care products, cremes, pills, homeopathy - you name it - throughout the last 16 years or so. There's absolutely nothing left (except for accutane) I haven't tried. At least nothing on this planet. That's why I'm acting so dramatic. ;-)

Courage Gorgeousness, courage! Acutane is some pretty agressive stuff, but (or perhaps therefore) it is so effective. I know it is very individual for everyone, but it worked miracles on my friend - we also tried everything in the world and nothing helped. Then accutane as the very last resort. Temporary sideeffects: dry skin, chapped lips and really dry eyes. Normal eye drops didn't help, switched to drops that contained fats and it helped. The only thing my friend regrets is not trying acutane sooner. The skin cleared like magic. I can so understand how annoying it is when you get out of your desired shape - it totally sucks and I totally feel you there! But don't let it bum you out too much - it doesn't take one inch off your beauty and soon you'll be working out and have the body you desire! In no time, you'll see. Confession: I can't take my eyes off you, you are so stunning! Beauty to die for

Accutane actually slows healing down a TON so you made a good move not starting it before surgery. It will prevent even basic cuts from healing well. But it does make your lips verrrrry dry and cracked and can also effect mood so keep an eye on it. Just be sure when you start it that you are consistent and take it every day so it works right.

Hm. Have you ever considered trying coconut oil as a lotion? It has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties, and you can safely use it in combination with other products. Also look for fabrics that "wick" away moisture. Since smell is a byproduct of the living processes of bacteria, using products that kill bacteria (like honey or coconut oil) as well as wick away moisture that breeds bacteria, you might get some improvement. Fingers crossed!

No, I haven't had coconut oil but that stuff is obviously a magic bullet. So I guess I should add it to my assortment of body care products.
