FT8 Configuration for the ARRL Field Day

If you are planning to participate in the ARRL Field Day and operate FT8, this video is for you. There is a tiny configuration that you need to do in the FT8 software, as you need to add your Class and Section of your station. This video will include an explanation about the Class and Section and guide where you should set that in the WSJT-X software. Good luck on the field day! 73!

Brief and to the point. Concise with graphics. I think you have a solid concept for making casts/vids. (many other ham vids are full of 'Fluff'). Glad I found this vid, saved my FD.

Are there different FT8 frequencies used for field day? I'm seeing 'yes' for field days a few years ago, but I'm not seeing newer info on it. Did the special frequencies go away?

As far as I'm aware, there are no special frequencies for FT8 field day, and I also saw some conversations about that in the past. In these cases, the best is just to follow the ARRL guidance before the field day, each year.
