Ft Peck Smallies
Спорт
The Biggest Smallmouth bass the WFWP crew have ever filmed! The crew travels 2 days to get to Fort Peck Montana on the Missouri River System to originally chase lakers and walleye but when they arrive it seems the fish have moved out! They turn to their buddy Matt for some help and he leads them to a few of his favorite spots and they are loaded with Giant Smallmouth and pike. Turns out to be the saving grace of this trip and now we owe Matt big time!!! What a trip for bass.

Thanks Brian
We did really well for walleyes and smallies at Rock Creek to McGuire after July of last summer. Hopefully we can isolate a pattern with the lake being so low.

Are they keeping the lake that low for the foreseeable future?

@@wildfishwildplaces5079 depends on snowpack and rain. As of Apr 18th, the lake elevation is 2222ft, full pool is 2234, max pool is 2250. The Crooked Cr ramp is high and dry, Nelson Cr has about 8 ft of water, Rock Creek is using the low water ramp. We just had a major blizzard last week with a series of systems following. The Corps water predictions aren't great because avg snowpack in the upper Missouri basin is at 88%... we'll see what happens...
What month of the year was this?
