Wicked dart! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to buy a blowgun now.

Just ordered mine. Hard to choose between these and the bamboo javelin's or the pack of cones to make my own. I suspect I'll have all 3 options before too long! Great stuff, keep the innovations coming!!!

This is the kind of video people want to see. Its about time some body challenge what is already on the market. I love this video. A great dart if you have to hide out in the jungle for several months. God bless that company

Please, how does these comparte , to the hunting darts that Cold Steel released first back in the day? Are these new ones faster? Do they go deeper?

I have the older razor head. It kills, but you have to push it all the way through the target animal. They hit very hard and you have to pull the cone off to get the dart back. Same length as this one

I have these exact same darts they are definitely lethal to say the least 🎯

I suspect the blue tape wrapped dart was switched or the tape was moving on the shaft. When shooting into the planks you can clearly pause And see the tape directly behind the blade. Then when you do your “everything is still perfect” inspection there’s a large gap from the blade to the tape.

I just bought a pack and they arrived my fist impressions are that they are very heavy. I like it but the dart cones do not fit the bore as snuggly as the cold steel cones. They need to fix their cones and it will be a great dart.

Just got an order with these darts. The orange plastic parts, specifically the tail end of the cone that comes in contact with the bore? All of the darts had burrs on these plastic edges. You could feel them when you ran your finger along the edges. You could feel the scratching as it slid into the bore of the carbon fiber two piece 5 foot blowgun! Havent shot any of these darts for concern over possibly damaging the inside bore of the carbon fiber blowgun. Are these burrs around the cone edge normal or a defect? Also, the darts were put in an Amazon package without the black hard plastic bottom, and all darts were out of the plastic cylinder, many poked through the amazon bubble package. Multiple quality control, packaging as well as shipping inadequacies. I took quite a few photographs from the perspective of looking into the package (before I took the darts out), a short video showing the hard black plastic bottom wasn't even present. A snap shot of the top of the clear cylinder showing that one of the white pieces of tape had been broken. Most likely, the darts had been returned to Amazon due to the poor quality control (the burrs on the edges of the cones) sent it back, and the Amazon warehouseman or Amazon driver botched the packaging. Talk about a situation where everyone didn't give a rip about quality control. No worries, I've been dealing with these Amazon issues for years.

Great video. Will these be available again on amzn? Also I assume the back of the tip causes less scratching of the inner tube compared to the regular broadheads. (has anyone checked the inside of their blowgun tube? It surprised me how much broadheads and metal darts scratch the inside.

Unfortunately I'm an avid blowgun Hunter. I have very strong lungs and was very excited about these. The only bad thing I have to say is kind of a big deal which is they weigh about three times as much as any other dart you will shoot with. It cuts the distance potential in half and it travels very slowly. The cold steel miniature broadheads overpower these contenders :-( I have killed a skunk though with these. If it's something within 15 ft I have nothing bad to say. If you're trying to be like Tim Wells these won't do it.

Do you mean, that the best Cold Steel darts, are the common ones, that come with the blowgun, those metal ones with the tiny broadhead, or the other hunting ones, with the bigger broadhead, that are between these super big here and the comon ones?

What good is it when you can't hit the mark ?

The darts I currently use completely bury the head in a tree if when I miss my target . I notice your dart only penetrate less than half when impacting a tree

I Posted Negative Comment about these Darts Wind Planing. Bu T at Normal Hunting Distances the Shoot Great. Razor Sharp, Have Swell up near the Cup, that makes me think they would work great for a Fish Dart. They Appear to have Tabs on the Blades that are Made to Break Away and you have a Barbed Fish Dart. Show us a Video of that Please. Cheers

Yes, I was more focused on hitting the target, I wasn't using all my force(only had 1 pack of ribs). I have chrono'd them and I average 26mps shooting out of a 5ft. gun. I have shot smaller animals and it passes through them. There is a video someone shooting an Axis deer with one and it almost passes through it. The cones on these are a tight fit to the dart, I would imagine if he loosened the cone a bit it would have pass completely through. Here is the link, kzread.info/dash/bejne/gGSitayeaNGTm5M.html. We are working on other videos and will see about getting some dart penetration testing.

Any way to get your plastic backs at 40 cal?

@jimmythehand7409, if you are trying to fit these into a 40 cal blowgun you would need to modify both the cone and the blade (and potentially the dart shaft). The CONE can be placed in the barrel of the gun draw a line with a sharpie, cut off the cone behind line and sand new cone diameter smooth. The BLADE will have to have both arms cut off to the tip body 0.40 inch width. The DART SHAFT will most likely need to be be cut shorter to help with back draft from the extra dart weight. I would not recommend using these darts with 40 cal. If you are trying to get a better dart for 40 cal I would recommend modifying the Cold Steel Razor Dart or Tim Wells Redtail, with these you would only need to modify the cone or get a 625 cal blowgun, you will most likely end here if you continue shooting your blowgun.

I have personally shot over 1000 rounds with this dart through my barrel and there is only minor wear. This was exacted since these are steel darts shooting out of an aluminum tube.

Too bad you can't find them for sale anywhere.
