An old beat up frying pan, goatskin head, oak and mahogany neck. I left the handle on this one just for fun. The tune is North Carolina Breakdown.
Жүктеу.....

Another good instrument from the master craftsman. Saw you and your band buddies on the PA CBG Festival video. Great musing! For my tastes, y'all had the best show.

I sold the one in York to Dave, who's been wanting it for a couple of years. I had to hurry up and make this to replace it!

I have an untrained ear, but sounds just like a 'real' banjo! Did I see that right, no hole in the back? If so, what difference in sound do you think it would make?

Thanks! This one does have a 6" hole in the back, It's an aluminum pan, so it cuts fairly easily.

Do you have a shop/market you sell at? Heading to pittsburgh in a couple of weeks and see that you went to the PA fest. Hoping you are near :)

I use self tapping metal screws to go through the skin and the frying pan.
