Awwwww, poor little Charlie! I NEVER thought they were doing anything to hurt him, but it was so sad to see him burst into tears after being so rudely startled awake!

It is actually quite bad when you realise they are indeed shouting at a baby, but I imagine Charlie nowadays is like 'for fucks sake dad'

@@Livikyu Fair turnabout after months of a baby screaming at 1 in the bleeding morning. Still, long-term memory doesn't kick in 'til about 3 years old, so no harm done.

"I walked into a shop the other day... 14 stitches!" Talk about mastering the very high art of one-liners... what a brilliant demonstration of this scarce talent! This one is probably the best I ever "algorithemed" into.

When I watched the sketch with the baby, I thought that the person as an adult could say," I was in a sketch of A Bit of Fry and Laurie as a baby!" Now that I found out that he was Hugh's son, he has a lot he can say.

"we had our first child on the NHS, and had to wait nine months - can you believe it?"

Wow. They didn't even give Jeeves and Wooster half a sideways glance. In my mind, some of the finest work they've done. The commentators are right - they now define those characters and no one will ever be able to tackle them again without hiding in the shadows of their greatness. Right Ho, Jeeves!

ted daughters Actually, much as I love these two, the defining Jeeves and Bertie were Ian Carmichael and Dennis Price, in the original BBC series which no one under my age of none-of-your-business seems to know about. Wodehouse would have cast these two himself. If anyone outside of the Museum of Broadcasting can find this '70s (?) series then see how it should have been done.

It's so lovely, such a wonderful friendship

They are such a married couple. i love them. I loved Jeeves and Wooster so much. They werereally born to play those roles.

One of the greatest gifts in acting is finding someone who can improve better than you can...then the real enjoyment of the art begins. It seems that these two have found their perfect match.

Actually, I thought that was too much as well. But then, I know families who go on like that at each other - in jest, for real- just like that and they laugh about it. So I Don't know..

They say friendship is THE most selfless and profound relationship one can have because we benefit in no physical way from such relationships. These two are amazing examples.

These two are a gifted team, but also gifted when not together. So glad to have their comedy. It is genius.

The love/admiration of each other is the same love/admiration we got for them

Stephen Fry's impression of Richard Whiteley was just simply amazing. So brilliant, easy to forget he's such a talented impressionist as well!

Its really spooky, Stephen reminds me so much of my late uncle in the face and his voice . Especially the bit when stephen says i do remember who the baby was, it was Charles Laurie. The way he is talking at that moment, its like my uncle is sitting there. My uncle was a gr8 fan of Fry and laurie and absolutely loved J&W. RIP Uncle 👍
