I bought a poseidon starlight 12 small aftermarket for $130 and it was barely used. However, the scroll wheel and dpi button is off center (scroll wheel sometimes grinds as a result), when tapping (not clicking) the right button it ticks, there's minimal rattle, and there's nicks in the paint job although that's probably from the seller, the skates are awful, and the coating is no where near the league of the x2 mini bl. My x2 mini bruce lee's quality is 1000 times better but I bought the sl12 as a collectors piece. Not really planning on using it.

If their hyperlight is the same quality, then I'm definitely not buying for actual use. It just feels so incredibly clunky and awful to use even though I technically perform well with it.

I'm not particularly interested about mice and mouse pads but your style of reviewing is so well done, that I can't help but click on more of your videos. Keep up the great work! This will be the first channel I look at when I retire my GPX.

Awesome review dude! I remember the excitement of getting my first Starlight with the Tenz S. Then after a few weeks I noticed I was performing better with other mice so I sold it. The grips were great but I do agree maybe too thick and not sitting flush bugged me, a LOT

Ya I'll have to see how it wears with time but so far can't complain. I think at least exclusively for fingertip it's near end game but we shall see this year.

I spent the whole day marathoning all its content and taking it as a reference for my channel! in my peripheral country such as these are not easy and simple to find and it is always good to acquire more knowledge before bringing something new and different to my audience, congratulations for the work! success.

great review lemonade, i just got my Tenz version and i'm amazed by the battery life of this mouse, thankfully my copy doesn't have any qc issues....... yet 😅 and i want to ask do you recommend updating to the latest firmware for the mouse?

I honestly enjoy the aesthetic of the magnesium shell and having one of these (Starlight Phantom) as a mouse enthusiast is nice. It's a good mouse but lacks software and the ability to have Custom settings such as DPI which is a big downside for me personally. Finalmouse does roll out firmware updates to improve them and the process of doing so has become easier over time so that's one thing I can appreciate about them despite not making software. If I stick with it I feel I could definitely beat some aim scores but not really perform better in the games I play. I'm looking forward to trying to pick up one of the forged carbon mice they will be putting out this year.

The buyer of that Last legend couldn't be happier with it. ;) Great reviewer, great review, great mouse, great person! PS. Cool review. The arm sleeve you use arrived yesterday since I finally decided to order it during the weekend but, my arm feels like it can't move as fast. Gpw is still endgame since I tried the Atlantis again and the clicks are a bit too short and the performance isn't as high,

I've had my OGs since launch, thankfully I never had Q/C issues apart from an off center scroll wheel but that's something that didn't mess with functionality. Apart from that they have been absolutely stellar for me, I also charge once a month and battery life has been great. The mice actually improved as time went by, the firmware reduced latency by quite a bit incrementally. Since firmware 1.3.1, the wireless performance has finally been made indistinguishable to wired performance. Recently got the TenZ and I can say without a doubt, they didn't call it PRO just for marketing. The clicks are much lighter now but apart from that, it is quite similar to the OG models. The base has been strengthened as well but this was never an issue with the OG's. I can feel it however because the PRO models are actually 2g heavier! Overall though, the Starlight Small shape is probably one of the best, I have the SE coming in tomorrow, and honestly the Viper Mini is the only shape that can rival the Starlight. It's funny how Razer ends up making a magnesium mouse but charges a 100 dollar premium for it. Everyone talked shit about FM for charging so much but realize now what a deal it was. If FM had wireless tech like Razer, they would have definitely been the best, thankfully we have the ULX coming out very soon. Carbon Composite Mouse at 29g, 4K Polling, USB-C, available in 3 different sizes, and is NOT limited. The only thing that stopped me from recommending FM beforehand was how limited they were. This has now been remedied and I can confidently recommend FM from here on out.

Ya totally agree it really comes down to availability and with that being addressed it's easier to recommend the brand. In terms of magnesium, ya you can clearly see it's a expensive process to scale with as Razers mouse is $280 and now Pwnage is coming out with one for $170-$180. So FM wasn't being crazy for being the first to work with the material. appreciate your insight on owning so many of these, cheers to the ULX and 2023 😉

​@@UpgradeLemonade So I ended up getting a very low S/N (double digits), my SE has been perfect apart from a slight mismatch of the LMB and RMB. I was offered a free replacement but turned it down, honestly its not that bad, and not having the S/N match the # on the box would defeat the purpose of having 1 of 1337. The clicks are insanely crisp, crisper than anything I have ever used previously. The mouse feels much more solid vs the Starlight, thanks to it being a unibody magnesium piece. I modded the TenZ with the Razer 4K PCB and while the optical switches have improved the crispiness, the SE is even better. I thought I'd have a tough time deciding which to main but for me, the SE is just a tad too long VS the Starlight Small. So for the time being I will be maining the TenZ (Razer 4K Mod).

@@UpgradeLemonade We get caught up on having low weight and getting the latest sensor but honestly all that matters is the shape of the mouse. We aren't using MLT04 sensors anymore where upgrading the sensor actually made a difference.

@@Lumidon No, there is no communication between seller and buyer. They just list the product and you can offer a lower price or buy it at the price they list. In this case, it was a really random low listing and I bought it immediately. Stockx verifies the products authenticity so it isn’t a fake.

Got my LL, love it. Only issue is in 4 days of light use I get my LMB sticking so a single click will make me spray a wall with bullets in say valorant

Yeah I feel that, but luckily it's the best 3370 implementation I've ever tested. Very consistent. New mouse coming in June will have newer sensor tho 👌

Pixart 3370 adapted and using a Nordic MCU, it's very very consistent

@@remkoe3418 MCU is a microcontroller unit , essentially it's the brains that's processes the data the sensor receives. Nordic is the company who makes this one. Nordic MCUs are regarded as some of the best in the industry(along with STM) but can be difficult to implement properly. That's why usually top tier mice brands use them cause they have teams who know how to work with them properly. Lesser MCUs brands you will see more commonly on budget mice are CompX and Sintex which are easier to work with but not always as consistent. Is it night and day difference? No, but it's a higher quality part overall

@@remkoe3418 I answered the MCU question on your other reply. In terms of 3370 no it's not old. The differences between a 3395/3950 and a 3370 are so insignificant you won't notice. The more important part is how the software is implemented with the MCU versus just the sensor alone. Like I showed on the graphs here the Finalmouse is just a bit more consistent overall even though the X2 mini runs a 3395 sensor

Looks almost as good as my corded logitech g502. Imagine putting holes in your mouse to make it lighter when the g502 comes with extra weights you can add to it.

finalmouse have cool ideas in their products with their materials etc. but i just do not think about buying them as a serious prospect just because of all the stupid shit they do around marketing, hypebeast style drops and forced exclusivity

I'm not a big reviewer 😂 anyway it's all preference Chris, a Finalmouse isn't magically going to make anyone better. You can perform great with a $30 wired mouse. But Finalmouse does some cool stuff with materials, design and weight so from a hobby perspective it's interesting

Great video bro. Have to agree with the unboxing experience, even the sora at least to me has a slightly more premium unboxing experience for the price. Sucks that the QC on finalmice are still a hit or miss. keep it up
