I wanna try this with cinnamon toast crunch

I have not brewed in many years, but this has me wanting to get back started. Fruity pebbles has always been my favorite cereal.

Jokingly sent this to my Irish friend and he actually wants me to make it for him 😂 now I have to buy beer brewing stuff and figure out international homebrew shipping laws

I love the idea of using Fruity Pebbles! So how sweet did it end up turning out at the end? I would be curious to see how Apple Jacks cereal would turn out. Nice video!

Try adding zappa hops next time. Fruity pebbles is in its description. 😃

I just happened to buy a huge bag of fruity pebbles. Good chance they might end up in my fermenter this week.

Also... if you use green cardamom in your boil it makes it taste like fruit loops

All that hops don't make it to bitter?

how long do you un-thaw hop pellets (from freezer)? i was thinking 24 hrs but feel more comfortable with 36?

I throw them in basically right from the freezer

As quarantine goes on, my brewing has been getting simpler and simpler (i.e. kolsch/pales). But this compels me to do evil things... like brew with fruity pebbles

Probably but if you wanted it to be carbonated you would have to bottle carbonate it with priming sugar and it could cause bottle bombs. Kegs are safer for carbonating. (bottle carbing is totally safe as long as you do it right.)

Personally, I would have dry cerealed this beer for maximum flavor extraction.

What about Boo Berry cereal? I heard if you eat a lot of it will turn your poo blue. You might get an interesting color out of it.

I would be worried that the cinnamon might throw things off quite a bit. I will say, an Oreo Porter sounds interesting.

I could see a Maris Otter / Two Row combo working well, then the same 11oz of Fruity Pebbles added, and maybe even some flaked oats. I'm not handy with calculating the conversion, though, so I'd hate to try to speculate on quantities. I imagine it would work out pretty well with potentially some richer flavors. But to offload some aging ingredients we had here, I'm pretty pleased!
