I adored the episode where Haru made the haunted house not-so-scary for Tohru by spinning a heartfelt story how a man was tragically separated from his beloved mother for years, and then he proceeds to rip "mother's" head off for their touching reunion. In spite of their tragic lives, the Sohma kids can be thoughtful and amusing.

I just loved that bit when Ayame spawn into Kyo's room to tell him he's uninvited, because during the episode we were following his speech so we know what he was talking about but Kyo don't, and in the 'out of context' video it's obviously out of context and Ayame just pop up and we don't know what he was talking about... So basically we have Kyo's pov of this conversation I always dreamed of having that kind of scene.

Yeah, in season 1 when they (Shigure, Hatori, Yuki, Kyo and Torhu) go to the lake Ayame comes and brings a photo from Kana's wedding. And he got the photo from Mayu.

The way Haru carries Kisa is wholesome. Also, Momiji squeal at 6:33 is precious

When I first watched this, I was excited about the reboot, but I felt like the first one was a lot funnier, this makes me laugh way harder than the show tho. I think it’s because the first one had those cut scenes at the start of the video or during the video with the riceball and the animals 🤣 fruits basket 2009 was The first anime I found on my own as a kid after I figured out what anime was ❤️ so i enjoy the series nonetheless
