I don't know why people hate the dub of fruits basket I think the dub is really good. It might be one of my favorite dub anime.

There’s bad dubs for sure, but thankfully fruits basket has one of the best. Cheers to the cast for their talent and work! 🥂

Unfortunately the VAs for Arisa and Hana are different. I loved the original voices for those gals 🥲

Yuki and Shigure are honestly the best together, Shigure always teases him and yukis so fed up with his shit you love to see it

Yuki's dub voice is really awesome😍

0:30 was an, "I am going to muder you," kind of thing 😂

Shigure is so highly underrated, he was one of my favorites since the very beginning. 😃

I'm the year of the dog.................... I've never been so pleased to relate to a character so much lmao

0:09 and 1:05 were two of my favourite bits for sure, I also loved the scene where Hatori threatened to reveal all of Shigure's secrets if he spoke about his zodiac form. Such a great anime!

I love Shigure's personality so much-

I still remember when I first saw the original fruits basket anime 20 years ago and how hard I laughed when Shigure reacts to Tohru's tent

We need more dry comedy in anime...

I think I felt like that in the beginning when I was still comparing it to the 2001 but I think after I've seen this one again without comparing to the old since I already saw it and knew what to expect, I kind of started noticing it handle the emotions in its own way. Still prefer the 2001 for the scene when she wakes up and Yuki put her mom's picture next to her instead of handing it to her in this one. But yeah you're definitely not the only one. I think Tohru is too bubbly in this one. She was more sincere and the other one. I don’t know what the mango was like since I never read it. I’m wondering if they toned down the bubbly for the 2001 version since I feel like the west was only starting to get introduced to mow. Just my thoughts though
