Hey guys, to my understanding primary capsulitis was caused by factors such as diabetes etc. and secondary capsulitis is often the result post injury or trauma. It is stated the other way around in this video, is this correct?

I am a hospital pharmacist with a history of frozen shoulder on my opposing side, now experiencing this very frustrating occurrence on my non-dominant side. This is a great review of this crummy experience! Totally devastating to my resistance training routine. I am in the early (pain) phase, upcoming appointment with my HC provider. Do you have any suggestions/data on ORAL (ie Medrol dose pack) steroids vs injection? I have found some limited data that it may be helpful. With my last frozen shoulder I utilized a leftover Medrol dose pack during the later phase (more frozen, mild pain) which seemed to kick me through to almost full mobility. I could literally hear the scar tissue breaking up with activity, which was horrifying yet fascinating. Wondering about efficacy in earlier phases--ibuprofen is not doing much for me at all.
