Farm memories: When I climbed up into my uncles Brockway farm truck in the 1950-60s, they backed it up the ramp into the barn so it would rollout to jump start, magneto ignition. And his farm car had a hole rusted through the floor so you would see the road rushing by. You had to keep kicking the tools away from the hole so they didn't drop out. Also kept my kid feet away from that hole 🤣 My 90 year old aunt and 70 year old cousin still operate that farm that my grand mother bought in the 1920's. Hammondsport NY 💚💚 Tay, thanks for taking us along your life journey 🐮💚

LOL! He said it didn't snow much. In Tennessee, the stores would have been sold out of milk and bread, the schools would be shut down, and facebook would be filled with snow survival stories.

They are definitely more expensive to purchase initially, but they make heated potable water hoses for RV's that have a heat wire built into the jacket of the hose, it might be worth checking into.

You guys sorted out the calves water heating problem, they will be happy. I hope you don't get a bad storm again in Maine and stay safe. Chris from Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺.

2:10 The metal wires holding the heat strip could easily be the cause of the failure. 18:39 when testing, it seemed to be the ground fault that kept tripping. Thst means there is a short between power and ground wires. Anything metal, even twist ties, will cut through electrical insulation. The vibration from the normal flow of water could be enough to cause such a cut. People have been killed by such things, like wiring a chuck key to a drill cord. Never use anything wire to hold an electrical cord.

Good morning Taylor. There are many times when our plans don’t work out the way we want because something else comes up. Even if you don’t get a chance to make it to that Ag Expo is there something that you would like to add to your future farming plans.? You are an awesome and ambitious young lady and I do hope you get a chance to farm someday. I don’t know what you feed those calves because they seem get bigger every time we see them. Great video. Keep farming, keep smiling, stay warm. 🚜🐄😉

Darn! I enjoy your videos and especially like the video where I get to watch that sheepish smile as you scarf down your coffee and doughnuts - your favorite part of the trip. You might want to cover the tops of those containers on your planter so that they don't fill with rainwater. Could possibly freeze and crack the plastic container. I like Maine. Sixty years ago, I was stationed for a year at the Brunswick Naval Station while they built our ship at the Bath iron Works.

The heat tape works better when the black sensor is against metal, it’s easy to do cut the hose going to it and put a metal hose coupling in with hose clamps. Then put the sensor against it and then strap it to the hose.

we have had planters just like yours, may consider putting a cover on your seed boxes so rain and moisture don't get in there..., i think that's a seed plate planter, did you get extra seed plates with it? ..., find out what plate you have and when you buy your seed corn, order seed to fit it. Medium flat seed is best, but depends on the plate you have. Nice videos, you are sure a kind person!

Taylor. Don’t know if it’s applicable for you, but I’ve seen some farm UTubers carry a multi tool in a pouch that goes on their belt. It’s a combination of screw drivers, pliers, etc. that can be used for multiple things. Maybe just leave it in the barn. Would save u some trips, going to the shop for tools. Especially bad in the Winter, when it’s slippery, crossing the road.

Hey Miss Taylor, did you hear that static buzzing when you were in the cab before you left for the sawdust during editing? Your old yellow truck needs a set of new spark plug wires, which is probably the cause for that static noise that your camera was picking up. New plug wires might even make the old girl run better. Sorry you missed the trade show.
