19:45 It was so cool when Barioth dodged and tried to counter attack but Glavenus sliced him down mid-lunge and then stabbed him in the paw when he was down.

I like when Acidic slayed Barioth with his blade at the end 27:31

19:47 is my favourite moment of this fight! I love the way Acidic Glavenus cuts Frostfang Barioth down mid-leap and then begins a long combo string of attacks that Frostfang Barioth can't escape from for the entire duration.

17:29 My favorite tine stamp as the finisher was epix

I love seeing the Glavenus' enraged state, and Acidic Glavenus definitely didn't disappoint.

Yeah Frostfang only hit with it's big slam like once or twice. And it's the only move it has that hard staggers monsters instead of lightly flinching therefore it's the only move capable of knocking it down. Meanwhile nearly every one of Glavenus's tail attacks causes hard staggers.

If it was just frost fang hitting his attacks it would've been different but if both sides were landing attacks and glavenous didn't sit there for the first 5 minutes doing what felt like nothing I still feel glavenous would've won although with a little more difficulty

This battle was very satisfying to watch as there were many epic moments

Was not expecting Glavenus to win considering how much faster Barioth is and also the capability to fly which was barely used. Barioth got flinched so much on so many of his big attacks and half the time it would miss if not interrupted

Glav's last tail strike was absolutely beautiful.

the acid glavenus flings at monsters can do some pretty hefty damage as well

defense down doesn't effect monsters. It's just the acid on the ground doing the work

oh man, that was a good fight I couldn't really tell who was going to win until around the middle. that was very much a speed v power type mach up.

The anxiety of me hoping the monster doesn’t hit glavenus while he’s sharpening

favorite part was at 13:26 that tackle gave me a good ol laugh, see you guys next match with ebony and brute!

At least Frosty put up a really good fight

I wonder how these fights will change in Rise, now that the monsters can be afflicted with elemental blights. I think this fight would be a lot different with that. Also Y’all wanna talk about that shmovement acidic glavenus had towards the end? Personal note, i’m really glad you stuck with the normal arena theme in this one, was able to stay a lot more invested than with the other track. I still think the timer is unnecessary, especially when those who watch the premier already have to wait all day for it, but I guess this is more of a nitpick when you can just skip the premier and fast forward like I did. Overall I’m very much looking forward to the rest of this tourney.

@I’m the catman Thanks for the feedback. If rise fights to ever happen you can bet elemental blights will play a big role in the fights; and I'd be really interested to see some of the awesome matchups that would be possible. As for the timer, I only do it because once the premier goes live it becomes easier to find on KZread for people that are not subscribed. This gives a chance for new people to find and join in or watch the video; without missing out on the actual fight. Overall, I prefer premiering these fights; just so people don't get spoiled by the comment section and this tournament is much more unpredictable compared to the last one.

@@MonsterSlayerSquad Thanks for the insight, now that I see what you’re reasoning for it, the timer and premier makes a lot more sense. Hopefully Rises PC version doesn’t have any odd limitations to it so we can continue with such cool fights!

Awesome fight. Was close in every minute. I am glad i voted for the Acid Boi. As he sharpens his blade i know things will be terrible for Barioth.

The AI on AG is pretty damn good. With as often as FB moves around I thought AG would have had a harder time hitting but he almost always readjusted pretty quickly.

That felt like a finisher out of for honor or mortal combat lol

I just thought that because it only did one slam a few times when it did a slam when it was enraged and I thought it always did two when it was enraged

Expected Frostfang to win. Probably would have it if it aimed its jump attacks.

I think better multiplay the damage for 4-6 minutes fights. Just will be much more interesting to watch

Glavenous deserved this win after how many amazingly perfect attacks he timed, on many of his attacks it looked like he waited for the perfect time while barioth was mid jump to hit him and knock him down, while glavenous is clearly the weaker monster at least in the story he played his cards better ultimately giving him this win

Acidic Glavenus is basically a Doom Fan

Acidic went anime when he killed Frostfang.

glavenus barely won if Barioth had hit their attacks glavenus had lost

not to mention that barioth was at a disadvantage from the beginning Barioth is a flying serpent while glavenus is a brute serpent with no element damage and with a lot of brute strength Barioth is weak to brute strength

@Renan Gabriel True, it might have been closer; but I think the victor in this fight was clear. Acidic Glavenus in it's sword form was just too much.

your right frostfang does not perform some combos unless the hunter is stuck in the ice; which has no effect on galvenus; i guess thats one of the perks glav has over frostfang.

Man i love how frostfang managed to shoot its frost laser at the complete opposite direction of glavenus! Which is nearly every single time!
