People should never put concrete bricks inside a dumpster it can really do damage to the truck especially the hydraulic lifting arms. But luckily you knew how to lift it. Great save, awesome video

Awesome! Glad you have another driver who likes to video and even get in the truck for great commentary and views inside. Do you run a front loader route on residential type trash such as at apartment complexes or similar? As always, love seeing the hydraulics pack that trash! Keep them coming!

One of the most enjoyable driving jobs was running a front loader. Whenever I started getting tight on room I would try and get facing up on an incline like a loading dock or ramp and just pack the shit out of it, you will almost always get it to roll in the gate or hit a pocket

It 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒎𝒔 like the front loading trucks just 𝑫𝒐 𝑵𝒐𝒕 pack as well as the other trucks seem to.

Oh man, I hope he was not in the hopper with the truck running or not locked out. I have seen so many trash professionals die that way.

Perhaps another feature-length video with your go-pro camera tied to the back to see the full hopper. Plenty of construction, commercial and industrial waste in these dumpsters

At one hour thirteen you see a box of arm & hammer chilling out on the compactor blade lol

Here in Clearwater Florida area about 15-20 years ago we had a driver lift a dumpster with something heavy inside. On its way up it came out a hole in the container and crashed through the cab killing him. This happened behind restaurant and retail complex.

I've seen front loader garbage trucks in our area, and most of them are all the same. Lift the forks up, and ram it back with the type of rams seen in this video or with a single multistage large ram, both types sit behind a wall compacting plate that pushes the garbage backwards. recently, some front loader trucks have also had hydraulically operated side wings that fold down when not tipping garbage, and which fold up to the sides on small hydraulic rams when garbage is being tipped. For whatever reason, it seems to make the garbage less likely to balloon out the sides of the hopper when it's tipped in. I hope that explanation makes sense.

If u have a limit switch it won’t retract the forks with the blade back.

Me after taco bell 4:43 edit- The Dumpster is my butt hole and the trash bags are turds. the water is post shit diareha. the garbage truck is the toilet.

Could of only been a 17min video if you cut out all the useless drive time.
