Front-end Development vs Back-end Development
Front-end development vs back-end development... what's the difference? Web Development is about building websites and applications. It's not about the design, but about the functionality, but there is a difference between these two sides of the coin, let's take a look.
Remember to Subscribe goo.gl/6vCw64
In this video, I talk about the key differences between front-end and back-end.
- Definitions
- Coding Languages
- Responsibilities
- Where to learn
- How much will you get paid
- Which is the right one for you
The Front-End Development is the part that users interact with. Everything that you see when you're navigating around the Internet, from fonts and colors to dropdown menus and sliders, is a combo of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is controlled by your computer's browser.
The Back-End consists of a server, an application, and a database. A back-end developer builds and maintains the technology that powers those components which, together, enable the user-facing side of the website to even exist in the first place.

Also, I believe front-end development, too, requires the knowledge of operations, math (if you are into the creative side of things), logic (making sure resource intensive API calls are kept as minimum as possible from front-end point of view). Now I am not really sure, in what category implementing caches and stuff comes under but from my experience, I would say that inspire of being a front-end developer, I had to do all of the above and the back-end developer was one who implemented the DB and made the APIs.

If anyone is looking to get into frontend development i would suggest following a tutorial and then start from scratch and try and make something like it. In the tutorial of making the website you learn the basics and then you can go deeper in to the css and js after. Html is a relly easy language to learn so you wont have to spend to much time on that. Then you can try and learn backend development as im trying now.
