The province is heading into wild fire season, the sky has already been hazy. As the days go by, moving into summer, my garden will start to look dry so I filmed the front bed while the weather was nice. Most of the plants in the bed are low growing, the tallest being an Erigeron 'azure fairy' and if I don't get cracking on the weeds they will grow just as tall! It seems the weeds grow faster than the plants sometimes! The burgundy plant gets tall too and looks lovely right into fall...can't think of it's name! Overall the bed is less maintenance than other areas, it's mostly weeding. This ground is very hard, the rock was brought over by the digger when we cleared land for the workshop. Winter is the best time to work in this area.
