Alexandra benedik if you listen to only the instrumental it's not sad. If you listen to only the vocals it's not sad either. But when you combine them they sort of clash but in a good way which creates this sad feeling. I think from what I heard it's because it's a clash of major and minor chords and so it creates this sorrow feeling. ITS SUCH A GOOD SONG ITS A WHOLE BOP

It's the guitar that resides in the instrumental, it gives a nostalgic sad vibe, like you're longing for something a certain feeling and that's the vibe that makes people feel sad. Sorry if my explanation was trash, reacttotheK explain it better

i think its that heavy chord progression in the chorus that everyone is getting the sad vibe from. to me, the way it rises sounds like something you’d hear in a nostalgic montage from a coming of age movie

for some reason hayoung's voice at 1:00 gives me kind of a longing vibe and i live for it

Fromis9 has that unique vocal line which makes their song sounds emotional even though it’s really not. I can’t explain it well but their vocal line does such a good job conveying feelings to their singing that the listeners feel it too. That’s why they’re in my Top 5 fav Girl Groups 😊 along with RV, Weki Meki & LOONA ❤️

I ADORE THIS SONG!!!! I knew Fromis_9, but I can't remember if I ever listen to one of their songs... I saw a few Idol School performances, but not more... BUT DAMN, I randomly watched one of their music show performances, because the girl in the thumbnail caught my eyes because of her 2 colored hair! This is one of the best songs of 2018!!!
