What makes Blumhouse work for me is that he goes for small scale productions that aren't so big in that Hollywood sort of way but the EXPERIENCES leave you feeling big as if you could accomplish what Blum does. Like even if you didn't enjoy films like the Nun, Annabelle or Insidious, you STILL walk away feeling good as if you were part of something that made you want more of it. So for the most part, I would say Jason Blum isn't who you want but who you NEED!!!
