Im sorry, but that run along the boundary and left foot centering kick by scotto to fev, was possibly the best kick in the history of footy... running full pelt, opposite foot, across the body, 45m-50m pass to a perfect position on the lead...

Credit to Fev he finished beautifully, but the delivery from entries for these goals was (uncharacteristically for ‘07 Blues) top shelf. Scotland in particular, ridiculous.

This just shows how much the game has changed. Players don’t kick to a bloke on a lead anymore and forwards don’t get a free run at the footy like Fev does here anymore. Now it’s just kick high and long in the hope that one man can outmark an entire opposition back 6, because one man will always have 6 defenders on him

On the football field he was a devil of a footballer. Could swing a match. But off the ground, with the scrutiny and role model status of the professional footballer, was his undoing.
