Ankush Thakur No it’s not. The speedometer reads the speed of a delivery as it exits the bowlers hand, the pitch has nothing to do with that. The quickness of the pitch is how fast the ball moves after it has pitched

He's lost just a tiny bit of pace, but the main thing he's lost is the swing. Swinging with a 130+ pace would do perfectly fine too - just look at Asif in his prime

Wasim Akram once described in detail the art of swing bowling. Your muscles adopt how you bowl, then you have to maintain that brain to eye to muscle coordination. Each time you change your style you need couple of series to adjust. Wasim once said he prolonged his career by playing county cricket in UK otherwise if you have 6 months layoff its very hard to get back in rythm. Here we are talking about 5 years of layoff.
