Which really isn't saying much. The fact that the Taoiseach said that Israel's actions were "approaching revenge" after 8000 people had already been killed just in this particular conflict alone is ridiculous. Expel the Israeli ambassador.

Superb presentation. Is incredible the amount of lies Israel gets away with that are never challenged. So far in my opinion the most egregious is the claim that Hamas uses human shields. There's not a shred of evidence that's the case, beyond Hamas building infraestructure close to civilians, something that is unavoidable since all Palestinians are crowded vin what amounts to an open air concentration camp, and in that case any military operating on a city would be guilty of using human shields. Besides that, Human shields only work when the opposition can be deterred on attacking by deploying the shield. How is this supposed to work exactly with an Israel that shows no compunction in shooting innocent Palestinians? Meanwhile there's plenty of evidence, even on court, of the IDF is using Palestinians as human shields, tying them to their armored vehicles and that it forms part of the IDF doctrine. Israelis accusations of using human shields is pure projection and they use it as justification to get away with indiscriminate bombardment of civilians. A rethoric get out of jail free card. Israel is a criminal state. From the River to the Sea Palestine will be free.

Egyptian intelligence warned Netanyahu about the possible attack almost a month before it happened and yet he evidently chose to do nothing; not just bc he knew he'd be able to take the opportunity to cleanse the gaza strip; but also bc he doesn't even care in the slightest abt his own ppl; and he very easily chooses to sacrifice them to reach his goals; as he showed w/the recent hostage situation

Im in the U.S. - the fact that the people that find it hardest to understand the Palestinian struggle have been White Americans lays bare to me (and to anyone with eyes) that this is an issue of white supremacy and the systems it feeds off (colonialism, capitalism, genocide). As a black Latin American person - I see in Palestine what has already happened in the Americas and what has happened to my ancestors. That’s why I ask “what would you do” because it’s very clear to me what I would do.

As an Israeli that has a lot of criticism against Israel and that respects you for the work you do especially on second thought i feel obligated to react to your claims: Firstly the claim that Zionist movement are colonizers completely disregards the connection the jews has to this land, the fact that they suffered one of the worst genocides in history, the Holocaust and the fact that the majority of jews in Israel came from Muslim countries and had to flee their homes in fear of religious persecution. I agree that the forcable eviction of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians was terrible and the followed military rule of the arabs in Israel was even worse but the fact that the Jewish people has a connection to their historic homeland is a fact and i believe that like any national group we deserve to have a national state just like the Palestinians has the same right. About the apartheid claims, in the west bank there is an apartheid regime that must end the settlers there should be expelled from their illegal settlements and be replaced by a plastinian state. In Israel itself there is no apartheid regime, there is some systemic racism which must end but the arab Israelis are free, they have the same rights and at least for the ones i know personally from the University thay are quite happy living in Israel. About gaza, in 2005 Israel left gaza expelled the Jewish settlers living there and hoped it will turn out to best of both israelis and Palestinians. In 2006 the Palestinians had an election in which hamas won but the plo refused to accept and a civil war started. Hamas took over the gaza strip by throwing plo members of rooftops. After that hamas which is an islamist organization that wrote in his manifesto that his goal is the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jewish people. I believed for years that we could solve the situation in gaza with a diplomatic solution and i still believe the ones that should rule the gaza strip are plo but on the 7th of October the so called victory you have talked about was a brutal act of terror. A "libration organization" that goes from door to door and killes everyone he can find, an organization that abducted 200 civilians including babies and elderly is what i call a terror organization. More than that hams with its tunnel system could tried to protect the civilians in the gaza strip but they chose to hide behind those civilians. And a final important point Israel those not target civilians im sure in that because if we tried to target civilians there would much much more deads. Israel developed weapons with the sole purpose of lowering collateral damage, before air strike we call people in the building to tell them to evacuate we drop a small bomb to alert them and we use our intelligence units to make sure thare minimal civilian casualties. Even though we are trying to limt civilian casualties we failed many times and whats happening right now in gaza is atrocious and of course Israel is responsible for the situation but hamas is also responsible to the situation, hamas doesn't care for the citizens of gaza he doesnt defend them it uses them to defend itself. I understand most of you don't believe me or disagree with me and its fine but it is important for to express the fact that the jews in Israel has nowhere else to go all of my grandparents were born in Israel so i have no other country, i support the two state solution i condemn the occupation and the settlements but calling "from the river to the sea" is to call for the genocide of my people

As a fellow pro-israel, pro-jewish leftist, this is the most fair and balanced take ive seen. Most western leftists have forgotten the oppression of the jewish people that continues to this day and falsely frame jewish people as privledged colonizers when we defend ourselves.

The West may often be on the wrong side of history but the East always is. It was in Paris where men and women took to the streets for Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. It was an American's pen that wrote " We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal". It was a German who first popularized the Socialist idea of economic Equality. Representative Democracy was born in Rome and revived in London. Universal Suffrage and education was won in the anglosphere. And the global push for female Equality started in New York. Gay marriage was first legalized in the west as well. The freedom of speech and religion that allow many westerners to shout this nonsense were revived in the West. The West has done some terrible things don't get me wrong, but for centuries the West has advanced human rights and equality more than anywhere else in the world and if you can't see that you must be blind.

@@magicthegatheringlover4277 I respectfully disagree with what you have said to me. I don't know where you're from (I guess you're an American or someone from another Western country) In my opinion, the West has done and does many positive things for humanity (like science development in different scientific fields and some minority rights like gay rights) However, I think the East and the Third World are normally right, and the West is normally wrong. I'm from Brazil (Latin America), it's a country in the Third World. Many of those things you've said the West has as positive points we also have here (like socialist ideas, democracy, universal suffrage, gay rights, human rights, and many other things) You don't know how it is to live in the Third World. You don't know how our lives are. I think that you could rethink what you said and think The West is imperialist and has invaded many Middle Eastern countries like Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. And we still have the fact that the West destroyed Vietnam, Laos, and Korea, etc. It killed millions of people. It's sad You could rethink your idea. Thanks for the reply. See ya later. Sorry for my English, it isn't perfect (as you know I'm from Brazil)

@@gabrielt.3181 I know many, though not all, third world countries have that. But all of those ideas, as well as most other social progress, originate in the West. In fact it was the very imperialism that you bash that brought those ideas to the third world. Whether colonialism is good or bad, that does not reject the fact that the West has usually originated the best path for social progress. While the West always have resistance to it, it is usually first to implement them for the past 200 years. The reason the West is seen as evil is the same reason people always criticize their government or children (no matter how well they are treated or spoiled) will invariably call their parents "the worst parents ever". People have a natural tendency to call anyone more powerful than them, evil even when they are good.

I really appreciate your videos. I am reading "The 10 Myths About Israel" Right now and have "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine" next. I was raised going to a Christian school, and it's baffling how much propaganda we were fed. Reading through "The 10 Myths" is like checking box after box of what daily Bible Class was like listening to. We read the Bible, and no we did not constantly talk about how Great Israel specifically was. But the underlying message, the snakey, covert message that was twisted into everything, is evermore apperant.

I think the role of the West, especially of the US, should have been emphasized more in the video. None of what Israel is doing right now would be possible (or at least not to the same degree) if it weren't for the US's (and its Western allies) support. Because I'm tired of seeing all these 'all lives matter' figures trying to get Westerners to not care or tell them because they are not Israeli or Palestinian, they shouldn't have a say in this issue. But actually it is very important that Americans know what's going on so that at the very least, they can put serious public pressure on their government to stop supporting Israel's genocide campaign.

The maintenance of an apartheid state is inherently violent, and the lives that Palestinians have been subjected to for more than 70 years of occupation are horrific. Many people in general are quick to condemn both sides, as seeing Hamas ( an Islamist fundamentalist militia/political party ) as more than terrorists would be career suicide. The actions of October 7th were brutal. Innocent people died, even people that had sympathy towards Palestinian emancipation ( like people outside in the Kibbutzims.) But sadly, it is a constant throughout history that violent resistance is a NECESSITY if one wishes to liberate themselves. The IRA and the ANC stand as examples. Palestinians tried to peacefully protest against apartheid multiple times (such as the March of Return) but every single time the IDF has responded with a disproportionate amount of ruthless violence. It is only until now, after "Israel's 9/11," that we see cracks in the apartheid's stability. Never in my life have I seen this level of support for Palestinians, it is the first time I've seen the support for Israel's apartheid regime even be questioned. The Death toll and destruction are massive, but there is hope that we might see an end to this 70 year+ conflict. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free 🇵🇸

It's has been wrong for a long long time since the beginning. And to tell a people you are all brown therefore terrorist and should accept you torture and imprisonment and genocide at the hands of Israel is horrific and either ignorant or racist.
