I did this to my friend, he got nightmares and went mentally insane cause I changed the mod's name and every time he seen him I just discarded it lol he's in a mental asylum lol loser

Hi thanks for reviewing our mod! I will say the mod is best experienced on longer game sessions. He is never aggressive just does small things to creep the player out. Building the shrine doesn’t make him more active it’s just an easy way to skip the 3 day delay on survival. Great video though!

@@Kumalala_Homophobic That is optifine dynamic lights. It can be fixed by disabling Emissive Layers in the FTF config.

Honestly a horror mod that doesn't rely on hard jumpscares and entities chasing you this is a huge breath of fresh air. Especially for me since I love the vibes and aesthetics if this type of stuff but can't endulge in it very often due to my anxiety

great video! i love this mod so much, brings back so much nostalgia and memories of being 10 and being scared shitless because i thought all cave sounds were herobrine. now it's almost comforting to have a presence in my worlds, almost like a shy ghost that thinks it's funny to scare you but isn't actually malicious. he definitely still catches me off-guard, though. lol

Lemme tell you I had this mod installed on my multiplayer world and I was strip mining. I heard footsteps and him mining and left immediately to check if my friend was on. He wasn't. I literally refuse to play the world alone now lol

I was trying to find a mod showcase for this mod.. though I didn’t know if people still did Minecraft mod showcases. But thankfully I came across your video! 😊 Also, for some reason this video brought a lot of nostalgia to me.. I dont know exactly why, but maybe it has to do with the fact that you have a non-screaming voice, the epic channel intro animation, and the fact that this is in fact a mod showcase haha I appreciate it all! 😝☺️❤️

I have the mod in my singleplayer world and after smack talking him enough he started to appear much more commonly eventho i didn't mess around with his config. Currently building a home and bro is either stopping me from sleeping or is just standing behind me waiting for me to turn around only for me to smack talk him again lol

Yes! There is actually. In the settings page you can choose your own file for the skin

For some reason it won’t let me type the command in.. why? I just edited this and I realized I had to make a new world for it to work

I think that’s a different mod and the other two creatures have to have their mods installed as well.

so weird, the config command is not displaying properly for me, instead of showing the pretty icons its showing white squares so i cant interact with it propperly and i needed to change stuff for a server edit: you need to use the datapack as a resourcepack aswell

I think this mod does everything right except one thing. I feel like there should be a way to get rid of him. Obviously it's as if your world is being corrupted by him, that's cool, but it doesn't make much sense does it if you can't actually do anything about it. That is something I'd want to see but I doubt these people are going to make anything like this. At some point, the stalking and all the mechanics become boring and not scary. Eventually it's just not scary. However, if he could actually kill you and completely destroy your world that would be a different case, then he should be confrontable. I don't know, seems like a missed opportunity. And don't come at me with "I like that he's scary and only stalks", it's not scary, sorry man, but it's not. He should be an actual threat to your world and your life. Anyways loved the showcase and this mod is good for it's stalking mechanics. Let me know what you think of what I said.

​@@lookatyourmailbox exactly, if you want Herobrine be more aggresive you can change some options in the mod. But I think he is invincible, as you say, it would be great if Herobrine could be eliminated. If you can provoke him by hitting him or by invoking the shrine to have a death match and if you defeat him your world will be calm forever although there will be signs that he didn't die completely (like structures, signs, doors opening, etc). To bring him back to life you would have to summon him again with the shrine. This is a good idea.

You may need to download the datapack and load it in your resource pack list. It contains resource pack textures for the mod to load. Others with similar issues have reported doing this fixes texture issues with the mod.

Since you did HeroBrine, can you show how we can do that to the other Creepypastas?

I cant use some mods because when I enter minecraft , it says: Mod ambientsounds requires creativecore 2.11.9 or above currently creativecore is not installed. Can you helpe me ? Pls

i was having the same issue, playing on 1.20.4. i think it's the game version. make sure you have cheats enabled, and the data pack/mod *and* resource pack installed (or all 3, if all else fails), and if that doesn't work, switch to 1.20.2.

Honestly, I think the mild 'griefing' thing he does is just pure RNG. It isn't a rare occurence, it just depends on how lucky you are. On my survival world, I had him break blocks while I mined on Day 3 (and a redstone torch on 4 while I was in the mines too), and then open a door before I could around Day 15. He doesn't even particularly appear a lot for me, and it's been 30 in-game days for me lol.

me and my friend also had this problem but if you go in your texture packs theres a texture called “mod reaources” or smth along those lines.. you’re supposed to put it above all texture packs and then he will appear

10/10 mod/datapack it brings back my childhood trauma back to my game this is the most accurate herobrine mod ever lunar eclipse made a good job on this mod/datapack but sometimes when walks away i can be stuck sometime that makes it kinda goofy

the achievements are off by default, you can turn them on in the config running /function fromthefog:config (must have cheats on)
