From the Ashes

This was my first shoot since switching from a 4x5 to an 8x10 film camera after losing my home to fire only a few months earlier. I couldn't help but see the sun and clouds like the head and body of the phoenix rising from the ashes.
West Sonoma County, 2016.

    Hoping to bridge the difference between viewing on a screen and seeing it in person. Never as good as in person but we can try!
