From struggling for pace to one of the fastest on track - 24H Karting Genk, 05/05/2024

During the start of this stint I went out on a drying track not knowing how the track was, so I took it easy on the first laps. But when I started to push I didn't improve in laptimes. So I went for a pitstop to change karts. In the end, my laptimes where consistently 3-4 seconds faster when compared to my first kart which is crazy.

Hi guys, I've been following your channel for a little while. Are you planning to go 100 miles of Genk this Thursday, May 16th? I wanted to ask a few questions about the radio - I noticed you place a part of the communication system on the steering wheel - why is that? and which one do you use? I tried a basic cardocardo Bluetooth for helmetpitwall communication - it was losing the signal at the end of start-finish straight :D

Think they are using Kenwood walkie talkies (i use them aswell), has a push-to-talk wire that he attaches to the steering wheel and connects to his helmet. Personally i put that wire through my right arm en the button has a velcro clip that you can put around a finger (around 23.46 you can see it being put in the other wire). Easier to use imo and no troubles when changing karts ;-)

Hey Sergey, unfortunatly we will not be racing at Genk tomorrow. We will be present on Friday june 14th. As lessentielracing already explained yes we do use kenwood walkies, but in my opinion bluetooth communications (commenly used by motor drivers) are a little bit better because you don't need an extra button to talk. I your system looses signal it probably isn't strong enough.
