Steel is all around you in everyday life. From bridges to cranes or heat pumps - steel gets us further. But how do we make steel in IJmuiden? In this video, we take you with us.
Making steel is big and spectacular. From the unloading of ocean-going ships with raw materials and the fire in the blast furnaces and the giant Steelworks. The remelting of scrap, the casting and rolling and, for example, galvanising of steel to the transport of coils of steel to our customers. Discover it for yourself!

Everyone can make promises about a green future. Not a single thing mentioned on current green technology. Just goes to show how little Tata Steel has been concerned with the wellbeing and health of our planet, even though they try to push this image with this video. I will respect Tata Steel only when they successfully and rapidly make the transition to green steel.

I will respect you when you throw out all things made of steel you own, with which you sustained the world's steel manufacturers. Take a look around you. Bring it all to the scrapyards so green steel can be remade out of it. In the meantime: Good luck in your tent......

And yet here you are, using all sorts of steel and talking about it while Using Google servers which use up more energy than Tata Steel does.. Nice try though.
