The art of refurbishing things instead of buying new has been lost to generations after mine ( I’m 66 years old) my parents refurbished everything they could until there was no more material to accomplish that ! They always took our shoes to have new heels or soles to be put on instead of buying new ! Glad to see it’s coming back ! P.S. thanks for the sleep !

I’d argue it was forced out as shoes these days aren’t really designed to be rebuilt or fixed once your soles gone on a pair of Nike shoes that’s it they’re done

Wow! Those boots needed some intensive care, to be sure. And Angelo delivered! Very nice job, my man. Even Goku learned not to get between Angelo and his boots. Those had to be some of the longest shoe laces I've ever seen. Really enjoyed watching the repair work you performed at the end. Great job, Angelo!

For the love of god man thank you for fixing his other pant leg!!! My ocd wouldn't have made it long....

I don’t know how but it’s really working

Do some of the oils and cleaners you use require different techniques so that they can be applied to the boots/shoes. Or does one technique work for them all

In the end, the shoes remained clearly dirty on front top along the sewings, while a tiny brush could be used to clean those areas. It remains a detail that is very visible and easy to see.

Do you recommend leather conditioner or mink oil?

Depends on the condition of the leather. The boots on this video were saturated with oil so in this case leather conditioner would work well. But if the leather is dry, mink oil will work better. Thanks for your comment!

One of the tongues were ripped and couldn't be scraped to keep it's integrity.
