@@lupemyyy Yeah that love gets even deeper. I truly believe people who are not owned by a Cattledog will never understand them and their personalities. If I have said it once I have said it a hundred times, "If Gus could talk I'd have no reason to be around people."

I am glad the maloo is also a Holden Ute also the dog I have owned many blue a red dog also heelers I love all dogs cats as long as they r animals they have my heart by the way I am Aussie aboriginal and proud of it

I’ve had blueys all my life (57) and they are one of the smartest dogs around and loyal but always remember they love to work and if they don’t have enough then the mischief will come full steam but great clips enjoy anything about them

Mine teamed up with the cat and redecorated my office when I left them alone. They especially didn't like the drapes. We started agility trials training the next week and it did the trick. ACD's have to have a job and it helps if it's with their person.

My kelpie is 3yrs old and is a house cat I get home from work.Take her for a drive in my ute dump her on a road and she runs for 5 kms .I get a beer and she is home waiting .watch the movie red dog kelpies are better than cattle dogs

Blueys r great dogs yes but they were first bred 4 Australian condition I have a blueys and a red dogs wonder full dogs(both dogs) both gone 2 heaven but I have 2 heelers now also have had 6 German shepherd's all great dogs LOVE your doge they will give u many years of love and companion ship dogs r better than people

Heelers are soooooo intelligent. When you look into their eyes you realize they are only tolerating you for the moment until they get bored with you, then it's on to something else. Gotta love them.

Kevin Hayden they want to be with you ALL of the time from full on activity to just lounging in front of the TV. Oh and following you to the bathroom too. They are brave, funny,sometimes really annoying and always your best mate.

This is the breed of the Mother dog of my Jack Russell. The Dad is a white JRT. Mother is quite small. “Rue” looks just like a Jack Russell Terrier, though. She does have a lot of those blu-ish spots on her belly. Thank you for this video.

No. The kelpie is the better dog! The early 1900's Australia rode on the sheep's back... The kelpie was responsible for rounding the sheep for the shearers to send the wool to the mother country - England -for the war! Australians have a greater love for the kelpie over the cattle dog! Fact! Fair dinkum!

I recently had to put my 8yo bluey to rest as she had Lymphoma since Feb this year, one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make in my life, she was the sweetest, most loyal and smartest dog I've ever owned (who was the real owner lol) we also lost our 3yo male bluey a couple of years ago now from a brown snake bite which made it harder. These Heelers are incredible dogs with such a big heart ay!

@Cominick Druz after losing our 8yo ACD girl recently, we now have a new male blue ACD, now almost 14wks, they are the greatest breed, don't think I'll ever own another breed of dog lol

In Australia these dog's are either, Red Heeler or Blue Heeler. Some times in the state of Queensland the red dogs are called Queensland Heelers, but never an Australian Cattle Dog. Great dog, great endurance, and tough as nails.

In America these are all Australian Cattle dogs. Red or Blue heeler is a name given by the coat. They also have other common names like Queensland heelers.

I’ve always had boxers, great dogs. I shut down with them because of the poor health Now i have a nine months old ACD and a six y o boxer. I must say the ACD is a wonderful dog I surelly let her have a litter of puppies and i’ll keep some.

I'm Australian, my blue is Australian and like you say the maloo is Australian So why are the vast majority of clips American? Because they are the best dogs and the whole world knows it

I have a heeler markings similar. I got him from a shelter when he was 6 and is now 12 ..he has no tail , are some tailess or are they cut , if cut for what purpose??? Awsome video and I love my heeler. Not as active . he was obese when I got him .now he's just a chunky older guy. But he's been a perfect mellow companion 🐾

R u aware the blue dog came out of dogs in Scotlland a cattle station ownertook a dingo was crossed with a few dogs and hence the blue dog hi s name was Kidman and is still in oz not him the red dog was then bred the y r excellent dogs and usually 1 man dogs there is a breed called the maloo (We also have a Holden Ute called the maloo) they r wonderful dogs

Just call them either blue or red dog their colour I am Australian

Australians like obvious names like Bluey - if it is a blue heeler, Red - if it is a red colour, Matey, Jacky, Hey you, Sissy, Bella, Ularu, Ranga - for a red dog. Yella for a yellow dog. Tassie short for Tasmania, Nulla - Nullarbor plain, Kimy - Kimberly ranges or desert. Adel - Adelaide.

So they wont getinjured they will go full tilt. Not big on illness more or on injury. My heeler was hit by car. Son did not know how to geta hold of me. My injured ACD spent 2.00 hrs. in his crate came out to tell me I'm hurt Dad. Rushed him to vet. He needed some help came home next day. He was calmer then me. I have forgiven son for not takiking my boy immediatly. All turned out alright, Jake dog tougher then me. Still a toss up Jake dog or flesh family? Answer they are both the same . If you do not wish ACD to be part of family, do not get one.

It’s a training thing. Keeping them on a leash even when in the house is called an anchor leash and it helps you stop them if they decide they want to run out the door or get into mischief

Mate a pitbull KILLED my mate's cattle dog my kelpie jumped in my Ute the cattle dog ran got killed by a shit pitbull in Australia those dogs are banned. In the end the pit bull was killed for the dingos to eat the Australian kelpie is the best dog to get .watch the movie .RED DOG. TRUE story I don't think you have RED KELPIES. In the U.S.

My daughter has a red heeler and its 55 lb and ripped. Prolly runs 30 mph in short bursts and has a bite pressure almost equal to a pit bull. There is no way in hell a normal pit bull could kill this heeler. No fricking way. Now a trained pit in closed in cage or room that would be different but outside in the open the put would have no chance against this Heeler. Because she is so big we think she is more dingo than k9 and she looks just like a dingo. Are there different levels of dingo in these dogs? She is all heeler in how she acts. Smart as hell man. Cannot trick this dog at all. You fake a throw and she just looks at you like your dumb then you throw the ball and her burst of speed is actually scary. Amazing animals. Love my beanie.

When Bear starts biting me I'll grab one of his toys and trade out my hand or whatever he biting so he learns what's okay to bite
