Brandt McCall yes I agree, BUT is it Environmentally friendly cos we are not told what chemicals are being used, are they naturally accruing chemicals or synthetic? Although the fibres from the Pineapple leaf could surely be spun etc to make fabric without any chemicals?

I wonder what it feels like? Coarse from the processing or still very soft? What are the properties apart from looking like leather? Can it be processed to look and feel like different types of animal leather? I hope to get to touch it in stores soon :)

The feel can be imprinted. When made, its just like cotton. I remember holding this long time back on a farm but never thought of this. And now this is what I am looking to research and make. Nowhere to start as of now :|
