Me too, and bless him. We are all like this man's story until we meet Christ and are redeemed. Covered by the perfect blood of Christ, not by our own doing but by His wonderful love,grace and mercy for us. Praise Jesus forever and ever, amen.

I am now 72... in 2010 I was diagnosed with a huge melon sized deadly sarcoma cancer in my abdomin that was accidently discovered... Had surgery a year later, they could nor get it all as it had invaded everything... kemo is not an option, not effective, I was told I would die within two years... BUT GOD I had been a Sunday school helper/ teacher for 20 years, had many people praying for me... A year later I went in for a cat scan, the doctors could not find any cancer anywhere! asked what I had done, I told them Jesus took it!!! Which he did as no one ever survives that cancer!!! So its now 2020 and I am still serving Jesus teaching adult wednesday lessons,, tracting, whatever I can do... have been wonderfully blessed despite the issues of this present world! maranatha!!! I love you Jesus! Lewis

Stephen, what an encouragement to hear!

Not only did Saul/Paul put early Christians in jail. He was responsible for their death.....Yet because of God's grace, he was forgiven.......This gives us all hope................

Paul's life is a testimony to all of how a life can take a 180 turn to follow Christ and glorify Him.

It ends with, "But I received Mercy". If Christ is truly in your heart....you understand what those words mean. God Bless Everyone.

Beautiful to hear a Jewish person talking about the Lord. When I lived in Beersheva, we went to mass almost secretly to avoid antagonizing our hosts.

What perplexes me is that none of the multitude nor the disciples stood as witness for Stephen before he was stoned to death. All I can fathom is that the events happened so quickly and that none of the aforementioned were permitted into the counsel of the Sadducee that they did not have the opportunity. Yet all is to the glory of God to the uttermost. Stephen had no fear - his face as like an angel even to his accusers - for he followed Him who has overcome death.

Thank You very much ! I m very interested in Paul's story. I found in Him God's Mercy, God's love to his children. May the Almighty God bless you all.

Same here. Watched the last day. Reverted to the first episode. Upon becoming a new Christian in 2017 in dived into the story of David. Studied some Psalms and Proverbs. Now I am intrigued by Paul. Literally just laying on my bed after a hard days work and thought of him. Found this series.

@@ourdailybread I did indeed, so grateful for the Tour lol. I do have a couple Qs ... How do you know for sure how Paul died? And I noticed that where he speaks of Paul telling others we really have no input on our acceptance with Christ, that it's a gift from Him. While I understand that statement, it doesn't include that we must repent of our sins and no longer do them. This is what's talked about so much in churches today is that This has been left out to bring more people in, but that's false teaching. Now, I'm fully aware I could have misunderstood, please feel free to openly correct me. And thank you for responding 😇🙏

I find it truly fascinating that most all who before we knew Christ or decided to give Him a try, end up fighting for what we all thought was wright in our own eyes to finally have our own Damascus Road experience that changed everything in our own lives and our world outlook especially when it came to other people and how we treat each other. Once we all realize that we are truly just clay vessels that came from the MASTER crushing and pulverizing our hardened stony hearts through humility and repentance adding HIS Holy Spirits Waters of life to be made into vessels of HIS House. All we had to do was to allow HIM into our hearts. There is a very very good story that was used in a Our Daily Bread many years ago that touched my heart that spelled it all out. Does not matter where you came from, what country, or group you are with, we are all in need of our CREATORS grace and mercy.
