From Luxembourg to Porto and Hannah's Studios - Portugal 4K Travel Channel

After a rainy winter, we decided to visit the city of Porto in Portugal at the beginning of February. The weather forecasts are turning out to be very favorable, and we hoped for a spring-like atmosphere.
The nearest airport to our home is Luxembourg. We set off by car early in the morning, as there is a strike on public transport and we expect a higher traffic volume on the highway. But everything goes well, and we get to the airport in time for our departure.
The weather in Germany is still cloudy, but shortly before Nantes in Brittany, the clouds clear, and we get good visibility. We leave France over the island of Île de Noirmoutier and reach the Spanish mainland near Ribadeo and Figueras.
We then fly over the Central Hidráulica De Belesar and Embalse de los Peares hydroelectric power stations and dams on the Rio Miño.
Passing Ourense, we reach Lindoso, where we fly over the border with Portugal. South of Arcos de Valdeve, the flight leads to Viana do Castelo. When flying over Spain and Portugal, we see many wind power plants.
The impression that intensive investment in green energies was made is reinforced later on a train ride along the Douro, where we could see at least five power lines from the north to the south of Portugal.
But now the flight takes us along the beautiful coast from the mouth of the Rio Lima via Amorosa, Marinhas, Esposende, and Fão to Póvoa de Varzim. From here to Vila do Conde, the Roman viaducts are visible from the plane. We then head directly to Porto Aeroporte.
After changing at Trinidad station, we reach Porto São Bento metro station in around 40 minutes from the airport.
We walk the last 3 minutes to our accommodation, Hannah's Studios.
Hannah's Studios, which we found via booking.com, is a real stroke of luck for us. Our accommodation is next to the center of the old town of Porto, right next to the metro station and the São Bento train station. From here you can easily explore the city on foot.
More distant destinations are easily accessible by metro or train. The apartment has air conditioning, a small kitchenette, and a bathroom with a fantastic shower. In the immediate vicinity, there are numerous cafés for breakfast and the Rua das Flores, one of Porto's restaurants and shopping streets.
On our penultimate day in Porto, we meet the owner herself, Mrs. Ana Maria Carvalho. We meet her and her sister at a café on the first floor. We learn a little about her life and what a multi-talent she is.
Ana is a Naturopath & Homeopath who bought and renovated this house in Porto with her husband. She runs a dental clinic and owns two restaurants in Argoncilhe with her husband. Her younger son is a surgeon dentist and the oldest one a Naturepath. They both are also working on the restaurant. A real family business. But you can also spend a relaxing vacation in the Algarve in Ana's vacation apartment.
Her own hotel is still on Ana's wish list. We can imagine this will also be a success because Ana has already designed Hannah's Studios with great attention to detail.
