The Gospel: 1. We are all sinners. 2. The penalty for sin is death. 3. GOD was manifest in the flesh, JESUS CHRIST, to take the penalty of sin upon HIMSELF and died for us in our place on the cross. 4. HE was raised from the dead on the 3rd day to show HIS victory over sin and death. 5. CHRIST said repent (acknowledge you sins) and believe this good new (Gospel) for the forgiveness of all your sins and by HIS free gift of grace through faith HE will immediately give you eternal life. No popes, priests, sacramental works involved. Warning: If anyone says you have to earn/deserve salvation then that denies CHRIST and HIS free gift of salvation.

Pope Francis is smart. In fact, he won’t think Jimmy Fallon is funny either.
