Today is 3 years to the day that we bought this property. Our story on this property began 9 months before we purchased it, when our home set fire in Palm Springs, and we were forced to find a new home. Little did we know that God had great things in store for us.
I’ve learned that usually when one door closes, another opens, but we sometimes we need a little push out of our comfort zone. It is these life experiences that teach us the most important lessons about love, family, and joy. Through tragedy, I learned more about myself, my faith, and my priorities than at any other time.
Since the fire, I’ve quit my nursing job, focused more on my children and their upbringing, and found more meaning in life.
