FROM HASBRO TOY TO X WING RED 5! PART 1
Hi everyone, I struggle a lot to put this video since I don't have much time for editing or even work into this :)
But here it is, the first part in all its glory!
Basically trashed the hasbro hero X wing (hero series I think) and now adding new components that I am 3d printing.
So far created:
-The system to open and close the wings,
-The bottom wings and internal structure to stiff them up,
-New canons that has more details and allow internal wiring,
-Interior cockpit with seat,
-Electrical wiring for LED lights in cockpit, lasers, engines and R2D2
-Panels for the thrusters that were hollow,
Part 2 will be filling holes, sanding and get all this mess ready for priming and paint.

That's brilliant mate I've got the same X wing but it's been in the attic for a couple of decades lol might give it a go after my custom figures are done but amazing as always Luciano 👍

Luciano. Acabo de descubrir tu video y te agradezco mucho por compartirlo. Que lástima que solo pocas personas lo hayan visto. Encontré un X wing tal cual como este y voy a pintarlo. Alguna sugerencia luego de haber completado tu proyecto. Gracias

Hey, gracias! Mira si solo es pintarlo te recomiendo usar acrilicos matte o sino pintarlo todo al final con un liquitex matte, porque mejora muchisimo el acabado y le saca el brillo del plastico, yo lo hice despues de terminarlo porque no sabia que existia y quedo mucho mejor. Pero yo te recomendaria que le agregues el cockpit al menos y si tenes ganas meterle un par de luces. Si tenes acceso a una impresora 3d te mando los archivos de las partes que le hice. Suerte!
This is awesome, thank you for sharing your project. Have you made any progress? I bought the X-Wing after seeing your video, but have only opened the cockpit and worked on the engine cones a little. Like you I have a hard time staying on task and having time to complete a project!

Thanks! After I posted the comment I found part 2. Awesome build, just the inspiration I need to get mine done. I know the scale isn’t right, but I’m (hopefully) going to build out a simple cockpit for6” Luke.
