My parents are actually ministers. I really liked his insight on Danny Phantom being light against the darkness. I had so many friends growing up told not to watch things but I loved Pokémon. One of my Dad's friends defended the games and cartoons, and because of that, I was allowed to play it, and it was a huge part of my childhood. It seems like a lot of zealots read too far into things and shelter their kids. The end result often is that they don't keep their faith because the foundation was around behavioral patterns and not a personal relationship or connection to Jesus.

That last part is the most important in my opinion, too many people focus on a set of rituals or behaviors rather than having a personal relationship with God and Jesus who would guide you through the right actions

I'm not religious but I deeply loved the old christian cartoons I watched when i was a kid (the silly symphonies Noah etc) because they usually always had a moral. Can still remember the words to the songs in the cartoon that I watched 30 years ago! Great interview 👍

This is such an awesome idea for a Christian based mainstream children’s show, I like that Butch Hartman is pushing that envelope to go against the grain as not only a seasoned actor, producer, writer, animator, director… the man is a legend and has proven himself as true and I think that anything he has, is and will ever create will be worth watching at-least once. Much respect for him as an artist who made himself into a household name. Good stuff, Elmer, good stuff.

Fairly Oddparents never got old to me, I’m 32 and still watch the old school cartoons with my 2 youngest, they get so annoyed when I recite the show the whole time but hey, those cartoons were literally the only thing I had as far as happiness as a child due to a lot of Physical/Mental Ab**e & being shoved into my room or left alone, this man’s artistic style was one of my biggest influences/inspirations to put my past into my art and maybe create something for a better future. **Life Story Alert** I’m also a recovering addict, this last almost 14 months is the longest I’ve EVER been clean, since 9 years of age.

Feedback that no one asked for: I would have a better viewing experience if you stopped using "kind of" and "sort of" as filler words when you don't mean kind of or sort of at all. This is the new "like." A lot of young millennials and zoomers have this habit. It just comes off a lot less confident, intelligent, and prepared than it would without them

Charles, I’m definitely gonna get hate for this, because people get sensitive about this issues in ever angle (hell, my comment is because I’m being somewhat sensitive about this), but I really hope you at the very least refutiated his claim about being a creationist, which is objectively false Haven’t finished watching the video folks, working on it rn but that fact alone of Hartman is enough to taint my opinion of him, especially if he encourages that thinking

creationism is not objectively false. there has been no proof of it being false. there has only been evidence pointing towards alternative theories. that is not the same thing, and to say otherwise is intellectually dishonest.

My parents are actually ministers. I really liked his insight on Danny Phantom being light against the darkness. I had so many friends growing up told not to watch things but I loved Pokémon. One of my Dad's friends defended the games and cartoons, and because of that, I was allowed to play it, and it was a huge part of my childhood. It seems like a lot of zealots read too far into things and shelter their kids. The end result often is that they don't keep their faith because the foundation was around behavioral patterns and not a personal relationship or connection to Jesus.

That last part is the most important in my opinion, too many people focus on a set of rituals or behaviors rather than having a personal relationship with God and Jesus who would guide you through the right actions
I'm not religious but I deeply loved the old christian cartoons I watched when i was a kid (the silly symphonies Noah etc) because they usually always had a moral. Can still remember the words to the songs in the cartoon that I watched 30 years ago! Great interview 👍

This is such an awesome idea for a Christian based mainstream children’s show, I like that Butch Hartman is pushing that envelope to go against the grain as not only a seasoned actor, producer, writer, animator, director… the man is a legend and has proven himself as true and I think that anything he has, is and will ever create will be worth watching at-least once. Much respect for him as an artist who made himself into a household name. Good stuff, Elmer, good stuff.
Fairly Oddparents never got old to me, I’m 32 and still watch the old school cartoons with my 2 youngest, they get so annoyed when I recite the show the whole time but hey, those cartoons were literally the only thing I had as far as happiness as a child due to a lot of Physical/Mental Ab**e & being shoved into my room or left alone, this man’s artistic style was one of my biggest influences/inspirations to put my past into my art and maybe create something for a better future. **Life Story Alert** I’m also a recovering addict, this last almost 14 months is the longest I’ve EVER been clean, since 9 years of age.

I don't exactly agree with all the methods the man used to promote his message or some of the allegations against him (like art theft and tracing), but I think people are far too closed minded with this man. Glad to see you take an unbiased look into things.

You need to keep the Mossad troll tank out of your comment section. Having them there will only lower your subscription level. Nobody likes being trolled for having an opinion. Feedback that no one asked for: I would have a better viewing experience if you stopped using "kind of" and "sort of" as filler words when you don't mean kind of or sort of at all. This is the new "like." A lot of young millennials and zoomers have this habit. It just comes off a lot less confident, intelligent, and prepared than it would without them

Charles, I’m definitely gonna get hate for this, because people get sensitive about this issues in ever angle (hell, my comment is because I’m being somewhat sensitive about this), but I really hope you at the very least refutiated his claim about being a creationist, which is objectively false Haven’t finished watching the video folks, working on it rn but that fact alone of Hartman is enough to taint my opinion of him, especially if he encourages that thinking

creationism is not objectively false. there has been no proof of it being false. there has only been evidence pointing towards alternative theories. that is not the same thing, and to say otherwise is intellectually dishonest.

Not to mention evolution, etc?? It has been explicitly refuted by everyone in the scientific, anthropological and archeological community. You obviously can and will find individual scholars who say no creationism is true, to which is why they are shunned by their respective peers. It’s is false
