Hello ❤ I wanted to ask something. Do I need to prove each and every point on my cv ? For example if I did internships somewhere are the certificates I received enough to prove that which I might have received from the official mails and WhatsApp groups of the company or do we need to prove it again by contacting them during the placement season ?

Heya, curious person! 🤭👋 You need to absolutely have all the certifications and proof of experience, and you do not need to contact anyone under ideal circumstances - but keep in mind that you should be completely thorough with the work you have done and will be confident and experienced enough to explain to the interviewer each and every point that you have mentioned in the CV in great detail! @@CorporateSourabh thank you so much for answering my query 😊 actually I had seen many videos of iim alumni saying that you need to prove every point that you add into your cv, for example if you mention any internships then certifications aren’t enough but at that very moment the person working in the company needs to mail the place com that the claims and certification is legitimate, same in case of any school achievements, I am asking this specifically for the iims is that true ?

Yes, some added credibility is always useful! Some of my friends had done additional verification checks (like cross checking the certificate number and stuff) from the respective universities and colleges just to be double sure! Although as far as I know it is the company/college's responsibility to conduct background checks and not the student's. This varies from B-School to B-School though!

We need to understand the scope and potential of every industry and understand the implications on a macroeconomic scale. The basic concepts of economics like demand, supply, elasticity etc should be very clear- and you should be able to perform analysis on the basis of data provided to you! Have immense confidence in yourself and you will realise nothing is genuinely impossible.
