This design is so cozy, comfortable, warm and inviting AND the best part…..NOT gray. I really wish the addiction to the color gray would go away. It seems every store and boutique is selling gray household items still and this had been for at least the past 8-10 years. Ugh! Gray belongs on battle ships. Anyway, fantastic design and I really love it. Thank you!

Absolutely enchanting! I rarely say this but I want to live there. I’ve seen multi million dollar homes featured on all kinds of sites but THIS is it for me.

I love the way the walls are covered with soft wallpapers, interesting still life, and lots of texture that is not jarring to the eye. I love the English country flare that engulfs the entire home. It is just warm & inviting. A very comfortable place yet has an easy elegance to it. Well done!!

Foxwood Cottage feels magical, not at all rancher. You have a gift and vision, as well as exquisite taste.

I love everything! I remember when I was a kid in Brooklyn NY, I had a basement and that was the storage area for old furniture, books, material, the ping pong table, rugs, lamps etc. I remember how I used to love to make a living room using all the old stuff. Anyone who saw it was so surprised at how good it looked. I just loved hanging out down there and making it look nice. I still do this today. I am very into decor and making my home pretty and I have been all of my life. I am retired now and I STILL love it. I do that, floral arrangements and I am an artist. Some things never change.

Isn’t it interesting what we pick up from our dads by just being in the same room when we are growing up?

This home is stunning! A job well done!! We are remodeling our 1964 ranch and this style and colors are exactly the direction I have been going. Thank you for the inspiration.

Wow... this is a beautiful home. I did see a very quick glimpse of a bedroom with soft yellows. but never saw the whole room. The dining room is gorgeous... but that sun room is jaw droppingly stunning! I did laugh , when she said the porch was 1,200 square feet. I have lived in my 3 bedroom 2 bath home for 52 years this year... and its 1,148 square feet. haha Her style is beautiful. I will definitely check out Fig Design.

Iam someone who ordinarily would pass up an opportunity for a ranch and only be interested in an historic house.....this video left me in awe of the PERFECT design here for comfortable and gracious living ! This deserves a two thumbs up from me ! Thank you for the experience ! !

Most rooms have white fabric on chairs and sofas. Most rooms have two matching floor lamps and table lamps. Lots of Ginger jars. I would love some color in each room, on the walls and fabric. I see lots of art books on tables of course. That must be the style now. I do have a library in my home office. I have pared it down quite a bit to hold more family photos and memorabilia from travels. It looks like there might be a small creek outside behind this house; or was that a shine on the window. Whichever this is a cozy house.

I’m so glad you’ve started this video feature. I’ll be honest, the constant ads on your website drive me crazy, so I don’t go there as often. I know you need the ads, but every site I go to is littered with them, so I don’t do as much site visiting anywhere. If certain companies would boost their advertising dollars so there were less ads, it would be great.

I love all of the blue and white ceramics throughout the home. Good idea to frame and block the upper part of the window seats in the family room. Lots of great decorating ideas in this home tour. Not too many people would be willing to give up a garage for extra living space.

The home is beautiful. My dad too was a general contractor. I loved to go to his office and look through floor plans, and chains of linoleum samples, etc. However, I never became proficient in decorating. It is something I have always envied in others.

This house is absolutely enchanting! The use of space is amazing, including the charming little bookshelves around the window reading nooks. If I had any criticism at all, it would be with the filming. In some cases the camera hovered too long over one shot, and in some cases missed interesting features of a room altogether. For instance, when showing the half bath off of the sitting room the photography focused only on the mirror and did not show the entire space.

What a gorgeous home. I love all the cozy seating areas and the wonderful antique pine furniture. It must take a while to water all those plants🪴😉 but worth it as they add such warmth to the home. I would so love to grab a cup of tea and a comfy chair and spend some time looking at your great book collection. Greetings from New Zealand 🇳🇿.
