Glad you got the glasses. I sent those to you after you had your little plasma cutter incident. Have a good week Duffy.
Another banger, Chris. Glad to see you getting your ducks all in a row. Keep up the great work. No one can accuse you of sitting around and doing nothing, for sure. Thanks for sharing and have a great week!!
❤ looking forward to watching the content of the upcoming season of harvest
It's nice to see you have helped you're doing a fantastic job keep up the good work
Keep up the great work Chris and please stay safe
Those who comment that it doesn’t make sense to truck for income when you are farming….. obviously have a lot to learn about farming. COST of inputs (expenses to farm) most of the time are over inflated to the amount you make for yields. Hope you have a good year.
@Otherrandomguy42
Ай бұрын
But maybe what they mean is why not just go trucking and forget farming why go make money trucking to fund a farming habit that makes no money. $4 a bushel corn on wet ground in North East NY ( low yields his area averages 165 bu/ac) you couldn't make any money. Because as you said inputs are so costly.

@Otherrandomguy42 when you are starting from nothing you need to build the your reserves up when you start any business not just a farm you spend a good bit of time subsidising it you don't just hit the ground making millions anyone that has ever tried to build anything knows this.
you are doing a good job chris , keep up the good work !!!

My neighbour chopping today too,and putting it in the bunk.🇮🇪☘️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Yep, Chris, I've pushed up silage for years so I'm speaking from experience, You're a typical silage trucker!!!!!. NO problem in parking in the way of the loader driver on the silage pit where room is scarce, but would never get in the way of the harvester in the field where there is acres of room. Great U Tube channel. Keep on trucking.

I don't drink coffee either. I get the same reaction I'm very happy that Mr Burr isn't the one who reported you. I know some has been farmers get bitter when someone buys their farm
You do what works for you everybody's situation is different
Sounds like you need a biocide additive in your tanks including treating the main storage tank.
It’s a big help if you can pay as you go and not have a bank note hanging over your head a friend of mine worked hard to get to where he saves a bin of beans till spring to pay for spring plant instead of borrowing your trucks are your bin of beans
Xhris, check the vushings in your lwaf springs on the silage truck. Might have one bad one. But otherwise looked like another godd day. No major issues.
Get you some Lucas oil additive. It will bring your oil pressure up. My 1991 Chevy Silverado with 240k miles on it, gets Lucas every oil change. It has zero leaks and barely 1/2 quart low between changes. I swear by it for lower wear of cold starts. They made me a believer after I started working for an auto parts store years ago. All my stuff gets Lucas now.
I can see you getting a second silage truck in the future.
My Daughter works at Argyl Cheese, They make a great pizza with their own cheese!
That’s awesome that you don’t take out loans good for you. Keep working hard you’ll make it
Cash flow+++++👍👍👍
Some of the farms around me trench the fields with a middle buster in the fall and even right after they plant to manage excess water. Might work for you since you have the hard pan underneath.
Get FPPF killem for your tanks. And a good filter setup for your bulk tank
Nothing wrong with diversified income. Makes you resilient.

Some guys won’t fill their truck if the tank was just fill, the sediment on the bottom has been stirred into the fuel. They like to go back a day later. With only getting 500 gallons, he should fill his equipment order fuel and let it set for a day or two. I agree with you about the filters on tank I’ll bet he could go thru a case of filters pretty quick.
Full day trucking and farming
The Ethanol added tofuel will create water and algae in your fuel

Howdy Chris, Yenko, Austin, my fellow Canadian, I hope ya'll are doing well, Hey Chris, you've picked up breakfast pizza, countless times, but you've never explained what breakfast pizza actually is ?? I've never heard of that before up here in Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦 what's on it ?? I assume it's got eggs and bacon, or something like that.. I have a more traditional breakfast myself, like bacon and eggs, sausage and of course a black coffee lol Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
You need to focus on your own that way your corn will have more time to dry down because yes, most people and there’s a lot of people in your area that’s already cut in the ground
@davdhynes3518

I hadn’t thought of that, the bill for drying down the corn is going to make the revenue for the truck hauling silage look like pocket change. Conclusion plant EARLY.
I’m sure you have thought of this already but just in case. Check with the limken dealer to see if you can run one for the channel. I’ve seen a few on the farm channels here in Georgia.
Christ grass here is barely knee high but I'm up in Maine
Dirt is looking good 👍 4.3" rain here since Sunday night
Great video again sir, keep plugging away that's all a man can do Just wondering tho, have you thought of putting the 22.5 hubs from the parts truck on the silage truck and putting the drive floats on it? Maybe they won't work I don't know. I was just curious Keep up the great work buddy!!

I’m gonna call B S on having no operating loan because you just don’t want to be in debt. Today’s input prices are so high hauling shit won’t pay enough to cover them and KZread is probably paying for living expenses if he’s lucky. But as bad as he is at farming he’s gotta do something with the old junk Mack to try to stay and stay afloat. Gotta give the guy credit cause he does have some big dreams and that’s good but I’ll be very surprised if they ever come true. Hopefully they will but I’m guessing no.
