I've seen many segments about home improvement and heard many heartbreaking stories but this one broke me down . This couple deserves the help they get because they took in 6 brothers and sisters and they had 2 of their own. For me the most exciting news was she got a GED and married someone who loves her. So she and he decided to take the 6 kids in their house which was very small but they managed some how . So if there's anything I love hearing is that the 4 of the 6 finished high school , have their own family and have a career. That's one thing that I love hearing when kids finish school . Outstanding family . Thank you for sharing this video and i wish the Suns family peace , love and much respect to them 💯❤️🙏😇🙌💪👍

So deserving. What that young couple did is so amazing. All the little bit of money had to go to raising and caring for siblings. No money was left over to fix a darn thing. They are now fully taking of. So deserving.

The point that the WWE gave them $25,000 for Home Maintenance is the key because people would not understand what to do or how to pay their bills when they all of a sudden get this big property tax bill that's what a lot of the issues were with his show

Almost all families get mortgage paid or green energy to lower costs, univ grants money, vehicles all paid. If they are saving the mortgage they can afford taxes id think. No car pmts gives them more means to afford property. Most of these recipients have employment. They can make it work ❤

Hi my name is April and I live Lake County Florida City of Eustis. Iam lost my house and now me and my family are going to be homeless and living on the streets and my health is not so good I am fighting with very very high blood pressure and gets so high that I start to feel very light headed and dizzy and sometimes my vision goes blurry to where I can't see clear. It would be so very helpful that you and your team could help me and my family. Thank you and God bless, hope to hear back from you soon.

Don't think I could ever watch another episode of this knowing that they build these big extravagant homes and the families end up in worse financial situations trying to pay taxes and keep them. So they end up Homeless or living with family and what little they did have is now gone! They financially destroy these families!

  • @KatrinaRoseT

Too many people have been misled by the few people who have had to sell their homes after these makeovers. Less than 1% and most of those due to poor financial decision after the fact. The vast majority of families these people helped went on to thrive and flourish and even help others. Ty and his crew have done far more good than the haters can erase.

This is such a great thing, but I wonder how many of the families realize the tax burden it will cause. My son has a friend whose family had one built for them on account of their handicapped son. The last I heard his friend was still living at home to help them with the expenses of having the home. They can't sell it because they need all the special features that were built in for their child.

This show has ruined more lives than it has saved...in most cases the bills increase 10 fold for these families (mainly city taxes as the house was now worth much more) and they had to sell, or got foreclosed on... They used the tear jerk stories to get ratings, but ended up ruining people lives....even with the little cash they gave them. Look at the bigger picture people because reading the comments people still just see the sad story they were presented with, and cant see the even sadder story from the aftermath.
