I'm glad you made this video. There is way too much Christian dating content with oversimplified advice like "if you have any doubts, he's not the one", "when it's right it's easy ", "in christian relationship you will know early if someone is for you" etc. It was giving me a lot of anxiety when I started dating my boyfriend and we had some issues. It's important to know that godly relationships also can include struggles, even early on and it doesn't mean they are doomed to fail.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!! When I tell you- I rarely found Christian encouragement online that talked about how you can have a genuine relationship AND have it be really hard. The reality is- it is two broken people coming together. A lot of it is going to be realizing how much growth we need and how much more we need God's grace than we realized. I could get on a soap box girl🤣

As Isaac said..."He was putting us through the ringer!" I love that because when you are going "through the ringer" you usually do become closer to God. If you don't He will keep working on you which is a good thing. I think you both understand each other so much and realize you still have things to work on. What a wonderful relationship you have and I will be in prayer for you. Oh and happy Fourth of July too!🙏♥🤍💙

Lord, I pray that you would give me the strength to be the best mother I can be for my children. I know that being a single parent is not always easy, but with your help, I am confident that I can do it. I also ask for your help in providing for my sons emotionally, and physically so that they may always know that they are loved. Lord I struggle every month to provide for my sons. Give me strength. Thank you Heavenly father for your grace and loving tender care, and for always being there for me and my children.❤️

This was such a great podcast/video! Thank you both so much for sharing y’all’s story and for being transparent about the struggles in your relationship. I find y’all’s story and current relationship to be very encouraging. Being a woman in this current era, I particularly find Isaac’s character and faith as a man and the way he actively pursued both God and you throughout you two’s relationship to be most encouraging. Knowing that there are indeed men like him with a Godly character and love for the Lord still in this world gives me hope. I’ve met several men in the past that I was potentially interested in dating who claimed to be Christians but then never demonstrated it in their actions, personal interests or in the company they kept. Additionally, I greatly admired how you both realized how much you two needed to keep God at the center of y’all’s relationship and are actively implementing daily practices to do just that. I further admire that you both also realized that you each need to make a conscious effort to remember that neither one of you can ever fulfill that roll for the other. That is so true and so easy to loose sight of when you’re caught up in a relationship. Thank you both! I have so much respect for you two! I’m so excited to see future content on y’all’s wedding planning and life together in general!

So I'm believing now that he might not be into me anymore even if he says he loves me & we need to focus on God. There's so much confusion in my mind and fear and anxiety as well even more so now. I've been a subscriber since almost the beginning of the channel but I am still a mere stranger on the internet and my opinion doesn't really hold any weight. I just. ahh idk. Something feels off, but I don't want to be judgemental either :/ idk. I'm just gonna keep it to myself and pray. My grandmother always told me the person you're in a relationship with should bring you closer to God and bring out the best in you and always say I love you too. Maybe just different cultures and I'm overanalyzing. But I just pray peace, love, happiness, and discernment in Jesus' Name ❤ God is good!

I’m in the same boat as you. Been a subscriber for several years and I think to be as doubtful very early on may be a sign from God, or it may not. It’s interesting (and very human!) to make the wrong decisions sometimes, but it’s hard for me to wrap my head around a man who would break up with me and not immediately chase me and try to win me back. I’m also old school in that I staunchly believe not getting back with an ex despite whatever happened. I think if it got to that point of a breakup those two people just do not bode well and there’s nothing wrong with that. It does feel off but I also love you guys and your channel so much!!! 💗 Many prayers over this relationship and for clarity and peace over this relationship. I think it’s so crucial to marry a man who draws you continually to Christ, prays with and for you, and someone who you’re incredibly excited to be with 💕

I agree. I think she loves him more than he does, and I don’t see him very enthusiastic either. I also think Taylor might be a bit desperate to get married . I also don’t know if that’s true, I hope I’m wrong. I understand as I was once there though. I hope they have a blessed marriage, but I wish more young people pursued Christ as passionately as they want relationships.

I relate to the not being single on the opposite end of that spectrum too. I’ve always been single but sometimes it is hard to talk to people who are not single about certain aspect. And there are certain things single people won’t understand about those in a relationship. There is beauty in having both, but also finding community that is going through similar seasons as well as different seasons to grow. I think God genuinely brings people together eventually if they are supposed to do. And I’m sure having OCD does complicate things.
