I believe I have the same model but in different colors. Why does it say “indiglo” on the dial if it doesn’t work at all.

It works on my watch. Indiglo is a feature on watches that uses an electroluminescent panel to illuminate the entire dial of the watch, making it easier to read in low light.

I own one and the bezel is not fixed. It rotates. Yes, obviously it's bezel is not as refined as my Seiko Diver and the Timex takes more effort to turn it. Almost more effort than my wife's fingers can manage. But with use and keeping it clean, it has worked fine for me. One thing to remember, it's a ~$80 watch. You get what you pay for. And for me, when I'm at work or doing chores, it's perfect.

PS . . . On mine, I found that the bezel needs to be exercised when new to get it to work properly. When new, I almost thought it didn't rotate because it was so stiff. Solution . . . a couple tiny dabs at the end of a toothpick of a very light weight oil between the bezel and the case and then rotating it counter-clockwise for about 10 minutes. There does appear to be more resistance clockwise, enough that I believe Timex did intend the bezel to be unidirectional. It now rotates smoothly and much easier. It even has a nice clicking feedback.

I attempted to follow your advice, but it still refuses to move. I'll leave it as is, as I'm concerned excessive force could potentially damage it. This pertains to the tw4b26500jq model.

Are you sure it’s the tw4b26500? Just bought one and the bezel is fixed.

Fixed bezel is frustrating.

@@FrugalWatchBox I just realized you can buy two Casios MRW-200 for the price of this Timex. It looks good but doesn't justify its price.
