Surah Yusuf 🎯 I felt it when he said it I know exactly what he means & the love imran has for him increased, it always hurts more when you’re with someone that you don’t know has been hurting or what they’ve been carrying around with them & when you do it hurts like words can’t explain. So when you see ppl like Abu bakr the ones that don’t complain much or hide their emotions know that these type of people carry mountains with them everyday & usually are out just fulfilling other people’s needs. I haven’t watched naseeha sessions for a minute but watch shaheeds, Adam’s & this one & I was reminded to say JazakAllah khyr had it not been for Allah guiding me to this channel a few years ago, I’d still be in the slums with the bums. These relatable stories give me a sign of hope & a nearness, though I’m a women, being an outsider wherever you go is painful, whether it be the hood, family the this the that, but finding your way back to Allah with a stack of wisdom & contentment there’s nothing like it May Allah keep you all steadfast & may you accomplish to call to Tawheed in your viewers hearts & may your blessing be sacrificed for His cause & His alone, whilst in a state of wellness. Ameen

Are we allowed to expose sins if it’s to try to help others not do it? The other side of the coin is: some sinners may hear this and think “oh look he sinned and he’s ok now. So I can sin for a bit more and then I’ll clean up. There’s still hope” This isn’t a knock to you brothers. @@therussianemirati During the time of the Sahaba when the Qur’an was still being revealed, Islam was still being completed. We are aware that prior to their acceptance of Islam the Sahaba lived a life of jahiliyyah which was the norm before the message of Islam was revealed, but once they submitted and rulings were being revealed they responded accordingly each time. They didn’t continue to reveal their sins publicly as Muslims. Also Allah chose them specifically to be an example for our ummah today. There’s hikmah behind us learning that even Umar رضي الله عنه embraced Islam and became one of the most virtuous men of our ummah despite being one of its enemies and plotting to kill the Prophet ﷺ before. Although it’s well intentioned, discussing your past sins publicly on podcasts to inspire people is not the same. Allah has already given examples for us to follow and learn from in the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

the sahaba used to talk about their sins they commited in the past. There's nothing wrong with this if it is done as a reminder for the muslims.

I was in a halaqa of the Sheikh Ruhaily and he talked about this. He said do not expose your sins even when u see it can help others. These are not my words but the words of a known scholar.
