Yes, it is a beautiful house. But the beautiful family who makes it their home is skilled, creative, hard working, playful and fun. Their parents should be proud as well. Let them be safe during this war. From the pinned post above from the family, I think they are strong willed as well.

I have been in construction for 58 years and love the house design. I have never seen anything like it. All of you interior accents and designs are wonderful. Top Notch! A+ 😎

Just spent the best 40 minutes watching this with my 11 year old, and he would usually have switched off after 5 minutes, but we was totally captivated by this video, impressive craftsmanship by both husband and wife team. We will continue to pray that all will be well with you over in Ukraine, and that your labour over your beautiful home would not be in vain. Best wishes from the UK.

The burned wood effect is a Japanese technique called Shou Sugi Ban or Yakisugi...it's hard work, but the effect is beautiful! I have done it on my patio and wood fence panels. Google it! It's art! 💕

You are truly an amazingly special couple. Not just creative, but also loving and caring. I stumbled upon your channel today when I watched several other videos before I got to this one. Then while watching I read this pinned post from 11 months ago. Then I was shocked to learn you are from Ukraine and apparently affected by the air raids. Then I checked your last vids and it looks like you are in a safe area. I'm glad about that. It's just atrocious what's going on there with your country. I hope you stay safe and can continue with your amazing partnership and build many more things! Slava Ukraine!

What an awesome example of a beautiful home and family! 70 years ago, my parents did the same thing in Bay City, Michigan, USA. I grew up knowing they had built it themselves. That created a DIY mentality in me and my siblings. I recently had the opportunity to revisit our home, in Michigan, and it is just as beautiful today as it was 70 years ago! What you have created is so much more than a home! I admire and respect you and your efforts!!

I built my own house. Now I have it for sale and I want to make another one. It is a kind of addiction.

Must be such immense satisfaction from residing in, using, living in and around your work.

What amazing creativity and skill sets! We in America could learn a lot from this talented couple. Life is not about huge mortgages, swiping credit cards and writing checks. It's about creating a life with your own two hands, and doing it with a partner who is not afraid to break a nail or break a sweat. We have financialized ourselves into a debt bubble, professionalized work to the point that few of us know how to build anything real, and successfully stifle creativity with volumes of building codes & tons of permits & fees. Most Americans couldn't build a decent wooden cabinet if their lives depended on it, let alone an entire house. But our ancestors did, once upon a time. Maybe we made a wrong turn sometime ago. Maybe it's not too late to return to some solid creative human values. Something more like CREATIVE COUPLE...

Speak for yourself. I know many Americans that have the skills and ability to build. I myself added 800 sq ft to my old home and know many ppl that also either built their home or helped others do it. Not our fault you don’t socialize or know these types of ppl. Your hanging around with entitled ppl.

I have never felt like a bigger slacker than watching this guy work and put this together, nothing short of amazing.

The most impressive thing with all of their LONG amazing projects is their relationship. I cant even do the dishes with my wife and leave still speaking to each other. This is beyond anything I can imagine doing!!

I can't believe I have to explain to a man in 2022 that women are just as competent when it comes to construction. Or maybe I should just go take my place in a man's kitchen where I belong lol. That said, I do make delicious cinnamon rolls.

They need to get together to make affordable housing for the rest of the world. I have been house shopping looking for something with lower property taxes that will fit I have not had much luck and cannot move into affordable apartments either because I have too many kids.

There may be unforseen incidents, but i am glad their whole family moved in together. About 19 years ago my uncle too started a similar project, he unfortunately passed away of cancer before seeing the completion of the house, it was about halfway through... Work got halted and after about 5 years after his passing my aunt finally managed to find the heart to continue and finish the project. It was indeed heartwarming to watch this couple smile through (atleast in the video) this ordeal.

I thought just getting some inspiration for my own cottage building project in Sweden. But ending up in amazement for this lovely family, how skillful they are and how they can work together in harmony and achieve all this.They look happy all together and smile. What a wonderful family.

Imagine knowing everything about your house, where every cable is wired, where every pipe goes, where every wooden beam is.... If you want to put up a shelf or do any kind of DIY you know exactly where everything is and how you could do it, i can't imagine doing something like this, the amount of effort and sweat that when into this is incredible and far beyond my capabilities, props to you creative couple!

I was thinking the same, and also how awesome it is to know how to do woodwork, plumbery, electricity, tiling, roofing, soldering....jeez, can you be more talented?

and besides all these skills and hard work, they also take 3 shots from three different angles for each work step. I mean, without a camera it's a lot of work and takes a long time, with a camera it takes even longer.

Few decades ago, some companies (e.g. Michelin) actually helped their employees in building their house. You worked on it with some hired help and minor funds from the company. However people dislike that since it was also the time where paternalism reigned over cities.

obviously a baby after 5 years of life is a child, congrats to this enourmous realization of human life cycle hahaha

You guys did an awesome job building your dream home. Involving the whole family made memories your children will remember for the rest of their life and hopefully it instills in them that with hard work you can accomplish your dreams. Amazing job guys!

4 things i love about this video: 4. How they wrap a child in carpet and unwrap the child once the room is done. 3. They check each and every item to prove that it's strong and in incredible working condition. 2. The video capturer and editor of this video deserves an award for patience... 1. Each and every inch of this house speaks of love and joy since that's the feeling they had throughout the construction of this beautiful house.

I LOVE the kids room! 🤩 I wish I knew how to build stuff like that. That huge window on the corner too is just... *chefs kiss*. The bunk beds are awesome!
