the best teh tarik must have a balance proportion of the tea powder, condensed milk, evaporate milk and a bit/small pinch of salt. Heaven! Mamak teh tarik normally will not include the evaporate milk and the salt.

Next time u can try ordering Teh-C or Teh-C Kosong (no sugar) .. Its the lighter version of Teh Tarik.. But nothing beats the original..

try teh c tarik. it uses evaporated milk rather than condensed milk (teh tarik)

At mamak restaurant you should called the waiter Anney instead of abang same meaning to brother.

Tourist wth inclinations for women n vices should go to Thailand, Vietnam etc...family tourist are welcomed to Malaysia.

If you need less or no sugar ask for Teh Tarik kurang manis (less sugar) or Teh C kosong (teh tarik with no sugar with evaporated milk. Enjoy

Less sugar gives it a different taste. My idea is making sweetened condensed milk of natural sweetener with low gi such as monk fruit sweetener ! So we don’t have to sacrifice on the taste !

Have you ever tasted 'teh beng' Kelantan? We use 2 types of tea mixed with sweetened condensed milk only and do not use sugar. It is very tasty and popular here. 😊

You can order teh-C tarik which uses evaporated milk (unsweetened). Much healthier

since teh tarik using condensed milk for sweetness so just tell less sweet.. anything non-milk using sugar based sweetness, you ordering were perfect 10. in malaysia. if u need non-milk , add "0" such as teh-o, milo-o, mescafe-o, coffe-o so non milk but with sugar and if u need no milk and no sugar , u tell them teh-o-kosong, milo-o-kosong, nescafe-o-kosong, coffee-o-kosong

It's originally sweet, but you can ask for it to be less sweet to suit your taste.

U can ask order teh Tarik without sugar.

Teh See Tarik Koo Rung Muh Nees or Teh C tarik Kurang Manis= Teh Tarik with evaporated milk and less sugar..most waiters at the mamak are indian migrant workers from india..some do not speak malay but they do sometimes speak basic english..

Just tell that good old mamak, "kurang manis" haha

order TEH C KOSONG TARIK (teyh - see - koh - song - tar - rake). that's the none sweet version for you. it uses evaporated milk instead of sweet condensed milk.

instead of using condense milk, i think it should have the same taste if you replace it with low fat or full cream milk..that should do it tho..

Yes you can have Teh Tarik without sugar by just tanpa gula which means no sugar 😊👍

there's no way to get less sugar teh tarik from the eating establishments, because the sugar is already mixed in the condensed milk, unless you brew it yourself using the less sweetened milk... the waiters in Mamaks are normally Indians from India, so they don't celebrate hari raya nor understand local culture very much...
