I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COACH LIKE MATOMA, WHO BELIEVES IN HIS CHOICE WHOLE HEARTEDLY, WHAT A COACH!!!

I love how Matoma gets totally absorbed in the music and the feelings and he can show it. Inspires others. He is just so sweet.

I love his voice. Goes to prove that getting just one chair doesn’t give you less of a chance to win.

Sometimes the four chair turns are a big disappointment, it goes downhill from there. Kind of like a one hit wonder.

The coach. Matomas mother died 2 weeks prior to these auditions. Hence he was a bit of an 😔 emotional wreck

He’s needs to do an American Tour because his voice is perfect. The Country music fans will welcome him with open arms. 🤩

We will take Erlend here in America. Country here would love him, he is Awesome and I knew from the first time he opened his mouth, that he would go far in the voice!! I love Matoma he’s so emotional and that’s what I love about him. It doesn’t help that he’s really cute too!!!

Boy with that voice I can certainly see why he’s a winner! And I don’t know the coach that selected him but he is certainly a wonderful tenderhearted guy!

Wow! What a rich baritone voice!! He sings the notes so full. No wonder Matoma tears up when he listens to him.

Matoma is the most genuine Judge I ever seen, he makes me cry too, he is so normal and down earth, I watched these shows globally, he is the best

One judge knew in his heart that this was a winner and what a beautiful voice.

I love his coach so much. He's so emotional in every performance. Like how it shows him as a loving and kind coach. It also shows how much he loves music.

When you have a person like Matoma in your life, you will conquer life!

His coach is awesome. He wears his emotions on his face. He couldn’t have ever picked a better coach.

I love the way how the songs perfectly suit his voice and the way how his coach (matoma) seems very proud of him every time he sings

I find the sweet judge who is really in touch with his emotions quite moving. What a gift it is to performers to witness how their voice can affect another person. I think that this is much more powerful than judgements or commentary we forget.

I never would have guessed there would be such an amazing country singer in Norway.

This guy has a awesome genuine Country voice and I think it’s great how his coach is so emotional. He definitely deserved to win, Congratulations

The tone of his voice just draws you into the song. It doesn’t matter what he sings it pulls you in. Gifted !!!

Several of the contestants of this competition would be hard to beat in the Voice USA. Matoma listens with his heart instead of his ears. It's beautiful.

Watching how emotional Coach Matoma gets is what makes the Voice so interesting. I am rooting for his bet as well.

I think that Erland Gunstveit's voice has a quality of soft velvet with just a little whiskey added for flavor. A fine set of performances for the entire program. Bravo Erland!!!

He is with no doubt one of the best voices that has ever come out of Norway! I mean, this guy could sing the phone book and it would sound incredible!! His voice is as smooth as silk, and the American market will greet him with open arms. This young man has an incredible journey and career ahead of him. I’m so glad he won and wish him all the best 🙏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Looks like he got the best coach anyway. Who knows. If one or more of the others had turned, he might have chosen someone other than Matoma. Perhaps destiny had a better plan.

There should be a collection of Matoma's reactions in the voice. Just beautiful.

His coach seems like a very emotional guy, wow!

He has that beautiful broad round tone of a baritone yet can reach into the upper register with minimal effort, otherwise known as a baritenor. I love this guy's voice.

The best singer I've heard in a long time, WOW, can listen to him on constant reply and do. Thanks Matoma for turning and giving him a chance. Love you both xxx

What an excellent performance and Matoma has done a remarkable job in song selection. I could listen to Erlend all day, all year and the time. A well deserved win for him and his coach. The Voice Norway is one of the best! The coaches are heartwarming, caring and you can tell they invest their emotions into all contestants and their performances.. Well done to all involved. The band is exceptional as well .

Erlend is just a natural country singer, some have to develop the twang but his is just pure. Every song is a very much high quality performances. Hope he can come to America and records songs for sure I will buy that album.

Erlend deserved it because he has the greatest voice and style. Matoma is incredible! Congratulations to both. Best greetings from Portugal.

I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing to be a one chair turn. I think the other coaches had NO CLUE what to do with him. He was WAY out of the comfort zone.

My thoughts exactly. His voice is amazing and powerful but could easily be used wrong and trash his career. Better one that can help him grow then four that can't. A country music singer is not an easy task for most coach's. The style of singing isn't something that can be used in other areas very well.

“Everglow” & “Both Sides Now” speechless no words can describe his brilliant voice.

'Free Falling' is one of my favourite songs and he really made it his own. That was really impressive. Looks like he deserved the win! A real story-teller. And I love his coach.....such a sensitive guy!

The first time i heard him sing in the blind audition, i was stumped that only 1 judge turned. But this judge is clearly in love with his voice, unlike the other judges who waited for more judges to press the buttons before they press theirs. This guy’s voice is perfect for any song type: country, ballad & rock especially

I absolutely adore his coach, how he is so proud of him, and lets his emotions show through. I can't necessarily say I have a favorite as each are perfectly suited to his voice. I do love, not sure the title, but where he says "I will wait for you." It's upbeat and he's having so much fun.

Matoma is a HSP who feels deeply.Each song carries soulful meaning to him.He appreciates and sees talent. Despite being a single turn achiever, Matoma was with him throughout till the triumph end❣

Amazing singer Erlend, perfect pitch, he had a great coach they were able to sail to championship together

His resonance, tone and range are stellar - love his voice and delivery. His stage presence really evolved over the course of the show, too. Would love to hear him sing some Gary Barlow, Sting, and Garth Brooks!

Judge Matoma is very cute. He's a very emotional person....always in tears when the contestants with good voice sing good songs whether they're in his team or someone else

That is exactly the way I feel about Erlend's performances, he is my favorite artist if the past several years. The emotion he puts into his songs is just great.

I'm from a different country, still I've become a fan of his voice from the very first song he sang, no wonder he reached the finals.

A deserving win, fantastic artist and invested coach. 💙💙
