I just have to take this rare moment to mention Megatron is a stupidly well written character. I like Frieza more as a villain and he’s exponentially stronger; but in terms of the actual writing the 80’s toy is basically Frieza X Spartacus with a warning on Communism and Caste society…

That VA for Freeza is the same one from Team Four Star's DBZA

They say Frieza's super forms would far exceed Megatron but honestly? He wouldn't even need to transform. His main form would be more than enough at this point.

@gyver8448 For starters, the Transformers' cosmology is much greater than Dragon Ball's. The Dragon Ball universe is stated to be 13 times larger than our own universe. This includes all the other realms it has. The Transformers universe, on the other hand, is infinite as it contains Zero-Space, which contains infinite timelines of the past and present and has about 22 spatial-temporal dimensions. Megatron has fought and survived attacks from the Deceptigod and Regenesis Shockwave, both of whom were capable of destroying this infinite universe. This is all without getting into the multiverse, which contains over 15,962,782 different universes. Megatron forged his armour from Ore 13, which is the concept of Entropy. Shockwave apparently found a way to convert literal concepts into metals, and Megatron chose the concept of Entropy to use as his armour. Ore 13 is said to be greater than the concept of Death and the True Star Saber, which was stated to collapse the entire multiverse, which was, as stated before, contains over a million number of universes. Optimus Prime, who Megatron clearly scales to, once took down an Elder God; a being that dwarfs Unicron in power. And this was without the Matrix. One other mistake that Death Battle made is that they compared antimatter to hakai, which is not true. While both disintegrate their targets, it's not the same thing. Hakai, like all Dragon Ball powers, is a ki-based technique that can be resisted so long as the target's willpower and overall power are greater than the user. Antimatter, on the other hand, doesn't care how powerful you are; it directly ignores durability and destroys you at the subatomical level, no exceptions. Both hakai and antimatter may look similar on the surface, but the way they work is fundamentally different. Another thing they forgot to include is that Megatron has integrated space-bridge technology into his circuits, giving him the ability to teleport himself or anyone to any location he chooses. The space-bridge technology also has created built-in portals and wormholes inside his body, so if Frieza tries to punch through, he'll get his arm torn off by a portal. While Megatron is not as fast as Frieza when it comes to overall speed, he was capable of reacting to Thunderwing's attacks, which are capable of reaching the ends of the universe as shockwaves. Megatron has consistently reacted to attacks from opponents whose speed is just as or superior to Thunderwing's. This is especially backed up by his supercomputer-level intelligence, which is far greater than Frieza. Meaning he'll not only react to Frieza's speed, but he'll be too fast for Frieza to properly defend against his attacks due to being able to think faster. All of this, combined with Megatron's millennia years of battle experience, meant that Frieza would be annihilated by Megatron, even if he had his Black Frieza form. This match-up was a stomp alright, in Megatron's favour. Death Battle severely dowplayed Megatron and his abilities. I'm willing to bet that they just made Frieza win just to stop all the Dragon Ball fans from whining. The fight animation and the soundtrack were pretty awesome, but the analysis and outcome was just awful

@@Sean-Johnson Nah. As presented (I have no idea if Megatron is any stronger than that, but it's what I have to go off) base form Frieza is many times stronger than him. Even the anti-matter wouldn't hurt him because Frieza has survived worse.

Since you've watched Gravity Falls, another good one to watch is Bill Cipher vs Discord; that fight was insane, literally.

Theoretically Frieza should be able to resist antimatter in his newest transformations because he managed to resist and survive the Hakai energy of several gods of destruction. Maybe they arent exactly the same but hakai can erase things like souls and we dont know if antimatter is able to do the same.

I know the animation is just show, but in the fight, Frieza most likely had no idea what was even happening when the antimatter was surrounding and his anger caught him off guard.

Jiren wasn't really a villain he was just fighting so his universe doesn't blow up

That's debatable but Id reccommend it anyway. Its damn good.

9:22 I didn't notice it before, but Megatron is actually fighting a Transformers version of Cy-Kill from GoBots.

I honestly thought Death Battle had some grudge with Dragonball for a while, considering how many losses the main characters take, but they did Frieza justice here IMO.

I'm glad both characters got a chance to shine! Megatron managed to bisect Frieza in his most powerful form, which by itself is no small feat! Oh, and that beam struggle against golden Frieza? Sublime!

@GoldChampion23 Yes, Optimus once took down an Elder God in the IDW comics, and this was without the Matrix of Leadership. Megatron scales to Optimus, meaning he can do the same

no the smooth sleak looking form is his Base Form the little troll form is his weakest and as he goes up to his base he gets back to his original strength then Golden and past that make him stronger

They phrased it kinda confusing in their explanation but basically his “final form” is his true form and then he created his other forms “the ones with the horns” to restrict his power so they are weaker
