Fern resembling Frieren as Lügner realized, speaks volume to her potential and you just have to love how this show makes everything connected.

The reason why demons dont have much information about human because they were hiding from himmel. When Himmel died, They started to show again.

Letting the underling of her next opponent introduce Frieren as the demon killer because Fern reminds him of her is just chef's kiss🤌

I love the fight scenes in this anime series so much because they're so beautifully animated.

Think of the hero's party as being level 99 characters: Frieren isn't built for melee combat, but her overall stats would make her a stronger than average melee fighter. Same with Himmel, he went every year to check on Quaal's seal, but he was prepared to do battle & probably had counters & resistances to Quaal's attacks.

If you like flashy fights, you'll love the next episode. For such a comfy, wholesome series, Frieren has some absolutely top tier fight scenes. 11:15 - one thing to consider is that although demons are more powerful compared to individual humans, since they don't like to cooperate they all tend to focus on their own individual magic (Lugner with his blood, that one guy with his strings, etc.). In contrast, humans will build academies and study together, which is why Zoltrak went from one demon's super special unique spell to "basic attack magic that we teach all the kids"

I am surprised by the gap in knowledge of what demons' know. Definitely see that they have underestimated humanity. I hope we learn more about the demons' hierarchies and how they are fighting together.

@@SnuggleswithVy They underestimate them, but for the most part this is a medieval world and news travels at the speed of horse or boat most of the time, and there's no real place where demons and humans come together to mingle peacefully from what we've seen.

I'm glad you are finally seeing why this anime is a top contender for best anime of 2023. The next 2 episodes are a banger and you will see why this new hero party is dangerous ❤

what if i tell you this show gets even better? the animation team went insane on this one

Frieren always seems to use the demon's own magic to defeat the demons. Against Qual she used his own spell. Against this one, seemed like she used wire to cut off his hands

I honestly don't know what episodes I like the most - I think Frieren tends to do all kinds of episodes well, so it's hard to choose. It's supposed to be spring here, but it doesn't feel like it. Thank you for reacting as always!

Love that different tones in the episodes. Sometimes it's lighthearted and nostalgic but then it switches to intense battle so readily and in such a fun way.

im glad someone else pointed out the bodies just disappearing and leaving behind armor 😭 also i was wondering why everyone called her frieren the slayer here on youtube (havent watched the ep on prime or other reactions yet) but whoa i did not expect it to be her actual title! 😱 also girl your nails slayyy 💅

The reason you don’t see the gory details of the decapitated bodies is due to the age rating, the tv showing would be restricted to late night if they show that or nudity.

Honestly love the English translation of Frieren the Slayer more than Beyond Journey's End but I guess it is a bit of a spoiler for how cool Frieren is 😆

@@SnuggleswithVy I think it's Japanese wordplay. The title can mean something like "Frieren at the end" and "Frieren the slayer" Earlier episodes suggest the first meaning, but to the demons it's absolutly the second

if you want more of this you will be not satisfied with the Series 😮. It's not about flashy fighting although it has some fights

That's ok too! I didn't expect any fighting scenes initially but as the series continued, it's been building up my expectations a bit. Happy with just what we are seeing already😄

​​@@SnuggleswithVyYou can use it as something to look forward to I guess? After Episode 9, the next big arc with lots of cool fighting won't be until Episode 18. However, that arc contains what the community have been labelling "One of the best animated fights of 2024". It's even on par with shonen shows like Solo Levelling, JJK, Shangrila Frontier etc.
