He also got FUCKED UP by Linie and kept getting up. He doesn't know his own limits and constantly underestimates himself. But that's a good trait to have, it's better than overestimating yourself and dying early.

@@Jakokokoroko His understanding of what is normal is skewed because he's been surrounded and raised by exceptional super beings all his life. His village were all exceptional fighters. Eisen trained him after that and he was one of the four heroes who defeated the Demon King. Frieren is also one of the four heroes. Fern is being trained by Frieren and is a talented mage in her own right. So he thinks he's nothing special because all he's had to compare himself to are these legendary people. He probably thinks that any regular person could carve valleys into mountains and one-shot red dragons like he can, because he's had no reason to believe otherwise. He has no idea just how strong he is.
