kpop is literally korean pop, but music is something really serious in South Korea, have a lot of companys and a lot of groups of different companys (Blackpink is from YG company, I think is the biggest company in South Korea, and they focus are hip hop). what made kpop so interesting is the time of training, some of them literally are training for 6 or 7 years, it's like a kpop school, they have dance, rap and vocal classes, and they are testing all the time, they written their own songs, they do covers to perform in front off the importants people of the company, and more...
