I believe friends is perfectly balanced no more extra character should be the because it would be haslte to write and even for audience to see that many characters i best thing about the show is 6 charcter and this show develop it so beautifully so I believe what they did is perfect and no more outside friend is needed

No it wouldnt. Friends is the title of the series. It means friends, not colleagues or acquaintances. If you were to bring in one of the side characters then how about the lady who stole her wallet? She was more fun.

It is so funny. Matthew Perry cleary doesn't look comfortable holding a cigarette. He needed a "smoking coach" to prep him for these scenes.

All of them with the exception of Schwimmer smoked during Friends. Schwimmer told in an interview that rehearsals were hell from him, with all 5 smoking around him.

According to me Alan would have said that cigrette caused erectile dysfunction 😂😂

"Smoking is cool"...the universal mentality that was fought against when people were smoking cigarettes. Now we've developed vaping without the cigarette issues...oh yeah smoking is definitely cool :')

I can relate to Monica’s situation in high school I was with a guy we were more like good friends everybody loved him to death he was a super nice guy.

They reinvented characters from 2nd ,3rd season onwards, and then it started getting actually funny. The first season was so off their later season's character. In first season, Joey was portrayed as a smart handsome dude. Phoebe was completely crazy. Rachel was too soft and touchy about feelings. Monica got funnier in later seasons. Ross's personality completely changed after season 2.

it's the opposite if anything, first 2 seasons was funny cus characters were fresh. later seasons they too heavily relied on character traits like joey being dumb Monicas OCDs Ross became this sad loser having a midlife crisis. it takes smarter writing for first 2 seasons than it did for the last few.

It's amazing how Ross and Joey were spitting facts about how detrimental smoking is and putting up really good cases and Chandler wasn't interested. Yet when Alan has a word to him he quits almost immediately.

I'm sure it's has to be related to sperms problem. Impotence is one of the reason why smoking a bit have some drawbacks. (and also, it could be the foreshadow of how it'll happens to Chandler-Monica problem too).

I have read that addictions happen due to lack of meaningful connections in life. I am addicted to sugar and it's my easy ( but harmful) coping strategy. Identify when you smoke and what triggers it .Is it triggered by stress. How do you remove or better deal with that stress? Does it help fill a void? What is the void and how can you fill that void with a better alternative. Is there a therapist you can speak to on a regular basis ? Having a strong connection with a constant helps. For some it is their Creator. Good luck and may the Almighty grant you the peace you are looking for.
