@@brauchefeuerI am like a week late and on a friends frenzy right now but I have to disagree with you. That sort of thing can destroy someone's trust and idea of love. Realising you're gay in a relationship doesn't mean you can then sneakily experiment with another person while still in that relationship with an unknowing participate. There isn't anything different about the situation other than the her feeling different about herself. Lots of people cheat for different reasons but being gay shouldn't be an excuse or different to what you think about cheating in the first place.

I just think that if she was already questioning herself (fuck knows if she was it’s a tv show lmao) that there is a time and place. And in the clip above, it’s obviously clear that she’s being biased and even forgetful that she was unfaithful to begin with with her way of judging Ross. In reality though, I understand. But on the bases of it all I just can’t imagine that any circumstance gives someone a leeway for being unfaithful.

@@brauchefeuer it was an affair. If you aren’t feeling it break up. Don’t cheat even if you are finding out your gay because you are using that person, never really loved them, and you kept them as a backup to fall back on if affair didn’t work out. Very shitty thing to do. Also, you could live a single life and go on a date occasionally if you don’t want people to know you’re gay.

@@peterpan3022 a break and a breakup are not the same. A break means you’re still together you’re just taking some time apart and you’ll soon be fully together, a break up is when you’re fully apart. The point of a break is that the people need time apart but want to be together soon so they shouldn’t be going off sleeping with other people

Honestly, ross had so much confidence to start joking about it so quickly

When you realise that Rachel was the first person to say “ we were on a break” not Ross

Their fight wasn't just because of Ross or Rachel. It was both. They were both at fault. Rachel did not have to force Ross to claim that it was ONLY Ross' fault for them to get back into a relationship. But I think Ross should've not used the 'we were on a break' thing as an excuse because it is not. If both would've just let down their pride, they wouldn't have to go through all of these. At first it was funny but then it got to frustrating to see ross being such a douche. But now its all good.

I even didn't like how they got together but still did not clear things up about this. Which leads me to support the idea that their relationship won't reach far even at the last season. What i meant about ross being a douche is because of how they wrote his character to be one by making him fail from woman to another woman. Clearly, this was only done by the directors to spice things up but did not realize this made ross look like he was the only 'problem' in his relationship with rachel.

Jokes aside, the real reason he slept with someone else, is because he straight thought she was, because he was so sure she would cheat on him with that guy. His jealous behaviour make them do the break, and make him do what he did. They never talk about it, instead they go over and over the "on a break" thing.

To be fair, Ross thought that they where broken up since the closest thing to it was the divorce from Carol (which rendered him paranoid). And it was Chandler and Joey’s idea to keep it a secret since Ross wanted to tell Rachel everything.

It’s not his lame excuse. He has good reasoning, but because people don’t care about the complexities of human emotions, turmoil and relationships, it’s much easier to explain or justify your actions through a technicality. A correct technicality, but a technicality nonetheless. I mean, it’s the same thing with Rachel. She said that Mark was just a friend, and it’s true. But it didn’t appear that way to Ross, and neither to Mark who actually was attracted to Rachel.... It’s simply difficult to put objective truth into relationships when human emotion count as subjective truths. What is truth to me may not be truth to you. And that’s one reason why relationships are so complicated....
